Yes, beto!  Flaming lips had many great albums!  Do you have their cd set "Acid"?  I still don't have it, but it includes their first EP!

ummm, some on that list i don't like, some are so so
but have you seen Lemmy live and in the flesh?
Motorhead have been an institution a long time.
They were the first band doing double time punk
tempos and metal chords, plus "lead" Bass by Lems!
without fights going down. Ace of Spades is a classic.

and Lemmy grows a new boil on his face before every tour!

As much as I like Slayer, they've maintained a certain level of quality by making the same album for 20 years...And before anyone whines, yeah I know South of Heaven is...SLOW and Reign in Blood is...FAST. Suggesting vast difference between them is like citing the differences between and Alsation and a Rottweiler...

yeah they do get repetitive don't they?  i like lombardo and all but i can only take so much double bass.  and solos get on my nerves.  but south of heaven slow? i guess it's slow for slayer.

That's more or less what I meant. Compare it to the rest of their body of work, and it's fairly pedestrian. Plus singing about Satan for one decade and right wing politics for another gets a little repetitive too.

Mind you, the ultimate one trick pony has to be Deicide. A good 14 or so years of blasting for Satan exclusively there...
