I filmed both of the Hell's Kitchen shows along with 9/11 Seattle and they all turned out great.
Please understand that I work tons of hours at my job and am insanely busy with other life/family stuff.
That being said, I will be working to get them mastered to dvd and in circulation sometime after the tour is over but I can't give an exact date, so please don't hound me about getting the complete shows out.

Not fake, I mean with that poofy bit at the top.
Real nice, very professional with the external mic and all, I haven't been this stoked about a show in ages. And since Acid King is on tour until the 22nd, I think I have a good chance of Altamont on the 25th.

Is Joey Osbourne no longer in Acid King, or has Altamont's line-up changed?
#-o Oh yeah, i forgot about that.
I think Sasha Popovich plays with them more but I don't really know for sure.
Good work on the footage fella! Put me on the list for having a copy of the shows when you get round to putting them on DVD.
I'm now even more gutted now after watching the clip knowing it's gonna be a LONGGGGGGGG time until the Melvins hit Euro shores for a proper tour. It's even got to the point I can't look at the Melvins reviews section anymore, it just rubs salt into the wound a bit too much that I'm missing out on something pretty sweet!!! :(
Oven!
We all love you man !!
dont forget me !!! :D
HI, I'm maffy maffy and I like taffy.
As the token black man here, let me be the first to say thank you for the footage. L.A. 92!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what's the setlist?
or atleast what do you remember?
(hopefully they retouch on old songs, glad they're doing oven!)
To all you people who are slagging Civilized Worm as being weak, watch this footage. I think you may change your mind.
WoW. That was great! I'm even more excited than ever! Great job on the filming, by the way...

Yeah, I think I really did. But, even if they were playing "Sweet Home Alabama" in that clip it would have been great. Cody and Dale make an AWESOME team!
I liked how Buzz and Jared did the vocals on the "Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa" part. Buzz started first and Jared came in after. I prefer this way instead of the way they did it on the album. Some songs sound better live, I think this may be another. Not that the album version is bad at all, I just like how their approach is to it when performed live.

ah, great video!
too bad it stops when OVEN starts!
HHHOOOOLLLLLLYYYYYYYSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIt
that was amazing. the part right before oven when they were doing DIFFERENT stuff on the drums was realllly cool. the synchronism is great, but the alternative is even better.
i didn't know it was possible to be any more excited about this. FUCK!
i really want to see more. take your time, of course. i look forward to it.
Holy fucking shit!!!
Ok, I hoped it wouldn't come to this but:
As of today, I am offering a lung or a kidney to anyone who can fly me from Oz to watch a couple of shows on this tour!!!
It's almost like the Melvins have taken a stab at doing grunge.
Civilized Worm makes me think of Screaming Trees, or Alice in Chains,
it even evokes feelings of Mark Lanegan to me.
ok, I've watched it a couple more times and in addition to the previous offer I am also willing to sell my body, my mom, and that little kid in Africa I'm sponsoring...
Love how it ends with the drum part from Black Stooges with coady playing on his toms and dale on the double pedal...
my girlfriend and i were at the hell's kitchen 21+ late show....i would very much like a copy of that show, as well as the all ages early show and the seattle sept 11th...
thanks
that was really cool! to me it had a slight reminiscence of with teeth. I've now heard this and the talking horse (couldn't resist a dl). Gotta say thats got me amped for oct 10. hope to hear some old ones brought back live

A Civilized Worm = Ggiibbyy and With Teeth. I love me a Melvins power ballad.
Giiibbyy? I hear Queen and a bit of With Teeth. What in the song reminds you of Giiibbyy?
QuoteGiiibbyy? I hear Queen and a bit of With Teeth. What in the song reminds you of Giiibbyy?

Oh. I see what you are saying. Giibbyy in regards to tempo, gotcha.
Civilized Worm will trick you!
Mark D has been playing bass for Sunn at live shows recently in addition to his self-releases.
I'm aware of that, and theyre rubbing off on him poorly.
The whole drone thing is boring. Bad Earth clones. I like the Mark D era.
Civilized Worm kicks ass.

get it right or pay the price.
doom and drone are very different.
actually, its kind of exact with the monikers. and cross hatching is merely blending, influence and deviation. really a good example is sunn0)))z old stuff in comparison to black1.
kind of like when people talk about death metal and black metal interchangeably...
it doesnt really mean much except i tend to side more with doom than drone these days [even though im a combo fan]....
hence the opinion which is probably uncalled for in this thread.
also, that video, was really good. im really excited about the drumming.
i vow this tour ill be close up. listening to this album on the subway is great too... im always the only person moving when listening to music. everyone else pretends or really feels that what they are listening to doesnt make them want to jump around or dance. if i were listening to some salsa or some hip hop id get down. thats a comical feature of ny
.

I don't know, my comment wasn't directed to you specifically. It's just that there's an essential difference between drone and doom. Just finished listening to Neu!'s first album - totally droney. Drone is more of a style, a feeling maybe. I tend to feel the same way about the term sludge.

You are an awesome man. These need a DVD.
Thanks man.....
The only big problem I have in getting these authored to dvd is that my computer is dropping frames on a regular basis during my DV captures. (you'll notice here and there throughout my clips.)
This means I have to flush everything and start over with a fresh build. I've tested out way too much software on this one.
I may just dig up some other Melvins footage I've shot and make a few more clips first....we'll see.
