hahahaa

i don't like that they put that picture of themselves on there though...
maybe it's a nod back to atlantic days?  meaning, "here we are 10 years later and sound as mainstream as ever for the first time.  maybe atlantic will want us now, look at our cd packaging!"  haha.  i do love this album

looks just like any other back cover. unless they've done something special with the material/colors. which i doubt?!

I concur dear Watson,

this is in fact a back cover on the front...wich is an entirely different thing!

And if their goal with is to get a "BIG BUSINESS" deal like in the nineties, WHY NOT?
World wide tours, concerts in every stinking outpost of the world, Melvins action figures and record covers made out of pure gold!

well, if i didn't know the band, and just saw the (front) cover, i wouldn't look twice :) its a perfectly decent back front cover with the name of the band, a tracklist and a picture. lets hope the inside is made with love. from special people for special people.

I'm not big on them including a band pic.  its not melvins style,  at least not as of late.

It could be a nod back to Ozma even. I don't get what the problem is really. No offence to them, but they'd be more likely to be signed to Atlantic again if they didn't include a band pic!

Surely we should be talking about Rat Faced Granny, which is a much better song title.

They probably put the picture on there so everyone knew Dale was still in the band.

You have two new creative forces in the band. The Melvins aren't like Mountain who just want some one to copy Felix's bass riffs and shut the fuck up. They want input to keep it fresh. So I think as a whole they planned the packaging. I think it's great. Look how happy it made Klump.

Actually, the Revolve 7" on Suicide Squeeze Records has a picture of Rutmantis on the inside writing in lipstick on a mirror. That is Kevin right?
