Will this thing sell out pretty quick? I'd like to try to go but don't know when I'll be able to get tickets and shit, or if I can even afford it.
I don't think it sold out too quickly in '15. Bash is out in the back parking lot of Grumpy's so there's lots of room.

Yeah, last year was non-Bash Prick Party, which was awesome because they played the indoor stage.
The announcement said that Melvins will be the first band of the day again like '15. It was awesome because I told myself I wasn't gonna start drinking until they were done, not knowing they were playing first. They were done by 3pm :cheers:

There should be a thread about when you "Intentionally missed the Melvins when you had a chance to see them". Back in 2001/2ish Melvins were playing in town the same night as Unsane. I'd seen Melvins quite a few times at that point but had never seen Unsane. Made the choice to see Unsane and while I'd always be bummed about missing Melvins I chose to go see Unsane that night and was blown away. So happy I'll get to see both in the same weekend! When they did that tour together some years ago it didn't come anywhere near here and I almost flew out for one of the tour dates but just couldn't get it worked out. When I found out that Dale filled in for Unsane on that tour I did end up giving myself a kick in the balls.
Still pissed that when I was moving up from NC to RI, before the move the Melvins and Unsane were playing up here in either RI or MA, then were scheduled to play a club in SC not too far from me like a week after the move. Would kill to see Unsane, and seeing them with the Melvins would have been a fucking blast.

I know that Seawhores are going to play in August... Sure, surprises are fun but not so much when you can't go to the gig because you live in another country or when they're selling stuff exclusively at the shows.
Took the day off so I can get all of my pre-travel chores done in a non-rushed way. Of course the weather is fucking with my head today. It's been hot and dry for the last month and today it's overcast and cool. I upgraded my flight tomorrow to 'premium class' 8)

Heat was brutal, I ended up bailing after Cherubs (sorry Mudhoney!). Melvins were solid, short set as usual at this thing. Got a picture with Steven McDonald and Lori Barbero (of Babes in Toyland) in the bar. Blind Shake with Shannon Selberg was kind of a let down, kind of boring. Whores were exactly what I expected from listening to one of their albums, good. Cherubs were a pleasant surprise. Didn't know them but I enjoyed them.

It was cool catching portions of the shows through Idlz live feed.
They played for a solid hour. Left Lysol intro that i believe they were closing with off - otherwise it was the same set I've seen floating around

It was top five for hottest most muggy days ever. The show was a blast, but the sun really sucked the life out of me, so I totally understand. I was drinking water like crazy all day - by the time Cherubs came on I felt like I was totally going to fall over and crash. Had a snack in the air conditioning and made it back on time for Lydia Lunch. She was fabulous. History lesson! That was definitely a highlight. Melvins killed it, as usual. Blind Shakes were a lot of fun! Watching Shannon is like a performance art on its own. At one point he had a teddy bear that he was beating with a drum stick. Like, fuck sake?! This man is a maniac haha. Whores were also fantastic. I am honestly not a big Mudhoney fan, but they played a great set and it was a nice way to end the evening. That was a big deal for a lot of people there....
I think I had three adult beverage the entire night but the humidity just made me feel super goofy. Brian took me home when I my pirate mouth came out. Good timing :wink: I always love seeing Grim, but it is impossible to dodge his camera :P I was red with big hair and not in the mood for that. His wife is lovely, too. I got to see Bob Wants Chips again and this time he brought his wife! I love their Canadian accents. Best people. Bayerclan are my homies. Maryanne is the funniest person. Idle and Gimme45 = beesknees. DC = Milf bait. Paul is always super nice. Rev Mike is my brotha from anotha motha. Am I missing anyone? Oh, Mike from Splatt Gallery! Love him and his kids. Super cool people. It was like a big party. There were a bunch of nice people from the FB but I stuck with our own weird breed of people over here :P
