I'd love to compile a list of all the times I've seen them but the tour archive is missing way too many dates to make that possible.
Put it this way...I got turned on to Nirvana by seeing them open for Melvins. I've seen them open for Gwar, White Zombie, and Tool.
Been there for just about every seattle show they've done and sometimes I'll include olympia or portland.

...what a long strange trip it's been

I love watching you idiots put each other in labeled boxes. Coke vs. Pepsi, Ford vs. Chevy, Liberal vs. Conservative - enjoy your labels lemmings!
I couldn't possibly agree more.  How about judging each issue on it's own merit and not just agreeing/disagreeing because the "team" you ended up on tells you to.

It's got everything to do with them having an alternative slant, thats why they are sooooooo terrwible.

Speaking of useless labels.... alternative slant?
As in journalism that takes the time and effort to go on location let the people directly involved in a story tell their first hand accounts of what happened?

Sadly yes...I guess this is an "alternative" to having entertainment tonight melded together with micro snippets of important events slathered over with "experts" telling you what you are supposed to think.

sooooooo terrwible...

Thanks for the compliments.....I'll be posting the vid for Boris in about an hour and half after it's done rendering.  I think it's easily the best video I've done yet.  Huge and loud.

I'm hoping to get the third filmers video soon, and I'll be able to incorporate his footage in and have something special.  We'll see.....
no worries... the third angle is being transferred as we speak.
It'll all come together  :)
No worries here....I can't wait to get it though.  I cannot remember though, is it going to dvd, or another medium?
We agreed on DVD would be best for now since it sound like that's how you're doing the other sources but we can use a proper encoding methed for a second version in the future.

I think I like the Stoner Witch set the best, followed by the mindfuckery of C.O.D./Lysol/Eggnog, then Bullhead, then Houdini.

mindfuckery
love it.....my new favorite word.

Highest rated news channel. You have one 24 news channel that features conservative shows and then you have NBC CBS CNN MSNBC among others and you are complaining. Maybe Fox News meets a demand? Could that be why they are the highest rated news channel?
It's got nothing to do with them being "conservative" Yes, the rest of the mainstream news outlets are shit, but Fox is that extra evil paint peeling kind that you drop like maybe once every other month where you swear a demon must have crawled up your butt and died.

I hate Coulter more than I love Buzz.
Couldn't agree more.

I saw this post yesterday and couldn't bring myself to watch it( just being fox new related).
Now I come back today and look closer and find that ann coulter is involved?

Thanks to all the people that took one for the team and subjected themselves to this, so that the rest of us could just read your comments here and save ourselves the torture.

Seriously...if the actual nazi party had a cable channel that invited Buzz to come on would that be OK just because he's getting free promotion?

Oh, but as long as the host was a "music fan" then it would be alright???   Come on Buzz..Stop it!

Dude, Penn Jillette recently answered that exact question and I imagine Buzz feels the exact same way.  There's a reason that they are making a living in the entertainment industry while the rest of you are bitching about the decisions they make on an obscure message board.

Here's the interview.  On PC ctrl + f and search for "hitler" if you're too lazy to read the whole thing.   http://www.vanityfair.com/online/oscars/2010/06/penn-jillette-is-willing-to-be-a-guest-on-adolf-hitlers-talk-show.html

So what you're saying is that a willingness to do satans talk show is a prerequisite to being able to make it out there in show business world?

..damnit.   there goes my whole rock'n'roll fantasy right down the shitter.  ughh

She's Nazi Reggae and you know it. All drunk and hitting on cabana boys. Crazy slurring her speech in Cabo Wabo. All wearing a crusty black thong and dancing to Marley. Reading Mein Kampf and drinking Blue Curacao. Two fingers deep while Mad Money plays in the background, tropical breeze stirring her hotel curtains, a knock at the door...it's the steel drum rhythmic section from the pig roast earlier that night, wondering why she tips 10%. Bartenders gotta live too.

nice job!!  hehe...crusty black black thong/Mein Kampf

and the whole ann coulter punk rock thing...gimme a break.

the only reason anyone would enjoy punk rock is because of its ability to piss off their parents? really?  wow

I'll throw down a more please vote for some more collaborations w Hank III.

I, like many here I'm sure, got turned on to Hank through seeing him open for Melvins.
Always check him out when he comes though town and he always delivers.

Can't say that I'm a huge fan of assjack or even superjoint but his hellbilly/outlaw country stuff kills.

I would say that I have an equal amount of artistic respect for Hank as I do for Buzz but then I thought...would Hank "do the red eye"?
HIGHLY doubt it...ouch!

This may be a stupid question, but is it possible for a band to record a cd and come up with some kind of "security lock" or some shit where the cd cannot be leaked?

You're right...it is.
Initial intuition is nearly always correct.  Listen to your inner voice.

June 12, 2011, 10:39:52 AM
Well of course there is Jew Boy Flower Head and I remember enjoying the shit outta seeing them play Green Manalishi live.

Back in '99 I caught all 4 Trilogy shows they played in seattle in 2 days. (velvet elvis early shows and then the breakroom late shows back to back)
... awesome.

I don't think you are giving those albums a fair shake.. I think they are all very good.

Good solid albums as albums go.......but.......predictable Melvins/BB efforts. Nothing really was surprising in NWB or TBSM after ASA.

I was starting to think I was the only one that felt this way. ASA definitely had straight up intensity to it, NWB was good but not "holy shit great" and TBSM to me feels like coasting along and dare I say...safe.

On my way home from seeing them last september, I actually said that I felt it was time to cut Jared and Cody loose at least for a while. It was the first time ever where I didn't feel like I had had my mind completely blown away by that Melvins magic.

Now after seeing the four of them take 4+hours of early tracks to levels we all thought unobtainable, my confidence in the future of my favorite band has been completely restored. Playing these recent shows has to have put them into a great headspace.

I predict that they will get seriously fuckin weird/intense with their next studio effort.
