His solo show in Buffalo last week was beyond awesome. He had projectors behind him showing really f'd up and hilarious old filmage ala Primus or vintage Surfers while playing. He did the majority of his newest album which I grabbed. Nice audio effects interspersed throughout coming thru the mic.
Got to chat with him before and after since he was selling his own merch. Dude is the coolest mf'er on the planet. I normally don't try and "hang with" the artist I'm going to see in a small club when they're amongst the locals, but with Jeff it was so relaxed and not a huge crowd. He'll rap w/ anyybody about anything. I asked him some Melvins/Buttholes related questions, and talked about music in general and NFL. He's the first person I've ever met who's an Atlanta Falcons fan.

I went to buy some Pinkus merch in Toronto and 2 guys said he is going on stage in a minute you're gonna have to wait. So after watching Quicksand I went back to the merch booth. Bought a couple vinyls and a shirt and he said he would cut me a deal. He was basically giving me a shirt for free but I paid him more than he asked anyway.  Super nice guy, very funny too.
I liked Pinkus a lot more than Quicksand and Helmet.  Both bands were great but Pinkus definitely was more interesting.

Really cool Olde got a song on there.   Greg Dawson from Olde is such a great guitarist and sound engineer.  He is an acquaintance I've known for about 20-30 years.

Reminds me of WellWater Conspiracy but more straight ahead rock and less psychedelic. Looking forward to hearing more

Buzz mentioned on the Vinyl Guide Podcast the tour being cancelled is a real possibility.  But he is hopeful they don't have to cancel all the dates.  Its a wait and see approach.

One of the greatest days I've ever had in life was seeing the Melvins Lite in Hamilton.

Trevor was about an inch from the ceiling the whole show.

We had free beer from a bar down the street with live music that day...it was beautiful...walked back to get coffee and listen outside to the Melvins sound check...Dale with his Yankee Cigs.

Needless to say Trevor is awesome...Just fuckin' hands down the coolest.

I remember you telling me about "free beer"  outside the show and as tempting as that offer was I had to be a responsible driver.

I'd love to hear a review how it was if anyone made it, The Toronto Montreal dates were added later between other tour dates that ping pong between states and provinces and I missed the Toronto show by a day. The usual venues must have been booked up at the time the original tour dates were posted here, the Velvet underground is not the usual venue so I figure last minute changes were arranged with the bookings.

Missing this show, words cannot describe how I feel as a person wearing a Melvins tattoo on their soul.

Not to rub it in but Indian Handcrafts destroyed, I'm sad you missed this one

I played around on my bass and got pretty close playing Rough Democracy.

Deftones

i remember an interview with Buzzo, just going off about Chino Moreno, and what a coked out fuckface he is... but "knowing" buzzo, i don't know how serious he was... it was pretty brutal shit though,..

I remember him saying shit about Chino as well saying it was embarrassing watching him talk to Mike Patton about Patton being a musical god or something. I believe Buzz referred to him as "Cheecho"

Euthanasia is pure evil, man. I loved it. This was my fifth Melvins show and my fifth time right up front. I love being up front right under the band, but I can't seem to hear the vocals too well. Anyone else have this issue? For future shows, should I sacrifice my love of being up front to hear the vocals better? WHAT DO I DO?! Also, Buffalo Iron Works was indeed a sweatbox.

Bigjilm , Greasy and Condy are you guys goning to the Toronto?
I think I'm going to pass on this show sadly. Lately work is going crazy with hours, but earning over $2000/week before taxes its really hard to justify turning down the money.

I really liked their first record on Man's Ruin called Delmar.  It was sponsored by Apple or something crazy like that.

The only time was not really a fight but an argument.  This guy I used to hang out with started saying something about U2 and how awesome it was they are still going as a band. I said I disagreed and think they are over rated. He then said "oh yeah over rated? name one band that has been making music as long as them and still around today"  I said The Melvins come close to the years active as a band.  He responded "nobody gives a fuck about the Melvins they suck"  He was an individual who enjoyed pushing buttons and always having the last word, and would never admit when he was wrong.  So I ended it saying "you know I'm a fan and you say something like that, out of all the times you played music I think is terrible I kept my mouth shut out of respect, its your house "  Again he had to say "but my taste is actually good".  I just ended up losing a lot of respect for said individual as his smug attitude was spilling over into everything not just opinions on music.
