What with all the Rick-rolling and grab-assing I'm losing track of the post. Do we have them up here or what?

Here's both just in case -

Now be good people and go buy the precious pretty-pretty.

If these things are for getting exposed to stuff you'd usually steer clear of then Vocal Sampling are my find of the weekend. Their version of Hotel California had me giggling, with them not at them.

On a minus note ISIS were probably the worst of the weekend, I like them on record but live they're just dull unless you like synchronised swaying and fretboard-staring.

Everything else I saw I enjoyed but regret not seeing Porn due to tired/old/boring-ness. All in all a sucessful mission if only for my mate coining the phrase 'Snivlemites'.

And if you got the

Nah, it will be the ATP festival movie. They've been filming it for years now.

if you get a sunday wristband can you still watch Melvins/Mastadon on saturday before the room is cleared?

Not unless you sneak in, they'll be checking wristbands on entry I presume. The security are big on wristbands, it's yer golden ticket.

They'll be colour coded so even simple Somerset folk on security can spot a chancer. They're simple folk but they don't steal.

4400 people going, Centre Stage is 2000 capacity, Reds holds 1200 with maybe half that in view of the stage. So as long as 1200 or so people are doing different things we should be fine.

This two stage deal is gonna suck big time, trust me. ATP will be issuing wristbands to people who can't get into the first of the 2 gigs by the bigger acts. They should issue wristbands on arrival for the 'big 4 acts' as they've described them. They did this for Portishead and it worked just fine.

Standing in a line that will guaranteed snake out past Crazy Horse and missing other bands just to get a pass to see them the next day!?!

You shouldn't have to feel lucky about getting things you've paid for.

Rant over.

I'm hoping/guessing this'll be an unadvertised performance at the ATP.

The Slayer tour finishes end of Nov in Russia, I figure that should be enough time for Mr Lombardo to get his ass to Minehead. The double-drummer Big Band doing Director's Cut works just fine to my ears.

Nah, It's Halloween and I'm going out as tramp, it'll add to the 'aura'.

ATP will need to have a shit UK festival soon, I'll be getting sick of looking at the place.

You know 'the next one' as in 'not this one'.
