Melvins Show Reviews / Re: chicago 6/1

I had the same problem with the Melvins vs. Minneapolis discs back in 2008. I used Goo Gone and it worked super. No joke.

Besides the 1991 Germany video, where Buzz trips and falls backwards, have you ever seen them make a mistake?  In 28 years of shows and video's I don't think I've ever seen a mistake be made.  Sure there's the occasional mis-timed snare hit, or Dale and Coady don't quite match up, but I don't think I've ever seen them need to start over due to their own fault.

Am I mistaken?  What did I miss?

Man, where is the footage of this trip in Germany?

I'd like to see that.

so, everyone's seen this clip right?

Rocks, right? Right. However, I used to be able to find a clip of Anaconda from this show that just fucking OWNS every other performance of it I've ever seen. Can anyone tell me where I can find it? Am I SOL?

Does anyone suspect that a release show may happen in Minneapolis? Speaking for myself, that twenty-five minute set at the Amrep bash was just not enough, awesome as the whole event might have been.  [-o<

Looks like, according to a post by Haze on Amrep's facebook page, the Melvins will be playing first on Saturday. This might sound lame of me but I am entirely relieved, as I can just bail if I get tired of the hoopla. I am excited for Hammerhead though, so it's likely I'll stay for the whole thing.

Sacrifice > Civilized> Black Stooges> Pighouse> Electric Flower> Anaconda> Black Bock> Kicking Machine> Billy Fish> Skin Horse
Water Glass> Evil New> Amazon> Talking Horse> Lysool> Let It All Be>

I don't know what I'm missing so far from this evening's set if this is also the set from the June 1st show according to someone's post.
So really, Lysol?  Did they edit that out, 'cause it sure sounds like they go from Talking Horse directly into Let It All Be...

Right, they didn't play it. I was just saying that the setlist was largely the same as every other evening they've played on the tour, with a few omissions in the interest of the time restrictions of the Bonaroo set.
