Are you sure?  Night one, Water Glass, Talking Horse, Billy Fish, out of 20 songs.  Night two, Water Glass, Evil New, Kicking, Civilized, out of around 30 songs?  You have to admit they rely heavily on older songs.

Thanks for the reply, good luck!

Crybaby, what are you using for the lacquer mastering?  CD, DAT, etc?

if they focused on the new material then everybody here would bitch about how they neglect the old albums. then they'd bitch about the four piece line up, followed by wanting kevin back etc. etc. etc
Focusing on new material seemed to work fine up until 2006.

They're OK lately, but they need to get onto recording a new album. I hate to say it
but Buzz and co. have become an oldies nostalgia act by focusing on their 'classic' releases
while mostly ignoring their newer material. Something that Buzz always said he despised
in other bands until he started doing it himself. i.e Spaceland, Endless Residency, etc..

I am not selling mine.

BTW I thought the AmRep people couldn't spell, but the CD cover is indeed titled "honley!" - I wonder if this s an intentional error or a fuckup?

Honkey.  Amrep is notorious for spelling errors.

What source do you plan on using for the master?

They're all pretty awesome but I might hae to go with Coady as a monkey (or is it a bear?). Was this before a gig somewhere? They're in Europe now, right?
Taken around the time of the Spaceland shows.

Jeez dude. You tell me to "Read a Book" and then you want to cry if someone calls you a name. Seriously
It's called passive aggression.

You took a lot of time to ramble on about .. nothing.   You haven't added anything to this thread, other than pointing out what capitalism is not, and a minor grammatical error.   You appear rather dense and condescending when you miss what people are saying, and nitpick with the literal meanings of certain words, without taking a position one way or the other.  Yes, it is understood that buying multiple copies of limited records only to flip them immediately is not capitalism- you've said it two or three times, and no one is disagreeing.  The point is, it rubs people the wrong way when one person buys multiple copies, only to resell them, and then comes her and acts like a dick about it.

No one really cares if you buy melvins cds and resell them; it's legal.  You just don't have to be an asshole and come here only to rub it in other fans faces, who for one reason or another couldn't buy one at cost.

That's not capitalism.  It's mercantilism.  Read a book.
Actually it would be better to say it's commercialism (a heavy emphasis on profit).  Read a book?  Don't be a ass.

I would call it profiteering.

Look, a lot of us have bought multiples of something rare and desireable with the idea of keeping one and selling one to cover costs.  Going to a show and buying a half dozen copies with the sole purpose of selling them on ebay at 200% profit is shady at best.  Creating multiple user names at the AmRep board for the purpose of getting in on the "only available to boardies" merch. just to sell them on ebay for 200% profit is down right rotten.  And like it has been said, she goes out of her way to let everyone know shes doing it, thats being a cunt.
You're correct.  I agree with  you completely.
