Show was an absolute blast! I don't want to spoil the set list, even though I know it's been shared.

Merch table had a few t shirts. The classic Houdini two headed dog, minus the PU$$Y on the back. That's just for the OGs. Letterpresses: variants of 26 songs, bootlicker, kingdunn, and COD.

I walked away with the Mackie limited screen of Tarantula Heart, flexi, and fun pack! (b not included)

The fun pack included a bunch of stickers, picks, tarantula cd, random holograms and other stuff mackie printed on her letterpress + special surprise letter press CD - printed with silver ink. Bride was inside with what I think was a variant of what was in the ipecac cd packaging. It's always a wild card to go with that stuff. Not nearly as cool as the mystery Pinkus box with the Melvins trading cards from a few years back. But it's ok!


I also got that sweet fantômas pack. Because I have no self control. Self Titled, Suspended Animation, and Directors Cut.

Oh. And an iron on patch from Pinkus as a small support. It looks like the NASCAR logo but with his name. I made a butt drugs joke and he told me to only put a 1/3 of the patch on my tongue if I didn't want to trip too hard. I jokingly took the dare, and now I'm all jittery.

He opened with a banjo and I told him he should start throwing in some Kermit the Frog covers.

If you made it this far into my ecstatic ramblings, Buzz did say to expect dueling drums in the near future !!!!!!

I read Ian's post too fast and thought he was trying to tell us that Trevor has an Only Fans 

You all saw that photo of him riding the Sinclair dinosaur, right? Haha!

We got Jared at The Unwound gig. That was super fun.

You can't truly have a MELVINS experience without Buzz and Dale. It's like Cheech and Chong. Sonny and Cher. Abbott and Costello.

When Dale had to sit out Coady was literally the only person who could do it. He filled the spot well but obviously will not do as a replacement.

Dale was on point at the Redd Kross show. He seemed healthy and doing well

Personally, I'd love another round of the foursome with the shiny dueling drums

Did anyone catch a spread of the merch table? I've been meaning to make a discogs so I can better track my mackio letterpress collection. It's growing like a strong healthy big boy.

ShitKid got me in some hot water.

I bought the fanzine. It showed up at the house and the woman's hand writing caught my wife's attention. Wife opened it. ShitKid personalized the zine by calling me her "Toyboy".

I had some explaining to do, which really, my wife did not believe, not knowing who these "young girls" are.

Oh, dear. Fast-forward... the other night I was listening to records and I come across the zine. So I decided to read it.

I open the first page and it says: To Brian. My Boytoy.
  followed by an ineligible signature.

So later that day, I was like, Brian!?! What the fuck is this? You have some splaining to do!

I figured it was a joke but I popped over just to see if anyone else got the handwritten note. Same thing, huh. Pretty funny, actually.

I thought the artwork was pretty tacky and didn't fit the aesthetic, but I do feel it was blown way out of proportion. I can't imagine buzz not compensating another band for their work. I'm not buying that.

I thought the interview was very good! They talked about life in Covid World, golf, the new record, old records, young buzzo, NY and LA, and of course baseball  they took streaming questions, so of course it came up. I think the question was read as, are you a fascist? I'm Probably paraphrasing But that's what I recall. Like, wtf ha! He handled it quite well, I think, but if you're really interested you should just listen for yourself. He brushed knowing who he was talking to (GI) under the rug, and apologized in a buzz sort of way. I just hope this doesn't get (Way more) blown Out of proportion. The last thing I want is for this to keep coming up - especially in this crazy state of the world we're living in. Everyone is extra on edge.

Anyway, the new record is great. Long live the Melvins!

Oh, and Dale is interviewing tomorrow.

Hahaha I remember we had a lot of fun trying to figure out the lyrics to Leon Versus the Revolution years ago.  I'm sure that thread is still around somewhere.

I made this in MS Paint when 4chan had threads where you'd try to guess the redrawn album cover.
