$284.00!!!  Final bid!  For 2 singles I'd bet Beto could fly over and see the melvins.  :o

Didn't Brian post a while ago about why he didn't want to accept donations/money for the melvins.net?  I believe that was the gist.

Although, I think it'd be pretty cool to see a melvins.net shirt.

I'd also like to see a 'Help Beto see the Melvins!' shirt.  :P

Ten pixels is pretty generous, I say.  Save bandwidth and make it 5.

I've got pictures coming in a few weeks.  I tried to take as many pics possible of the crowd (a new art project), so if you were there you might be in the pictures.  Like many have already said, the crowd up front was really rowdy.  Lots of security..Altamonts set segued into Melvins set..which melted into the Jelvins set.  A few posters were sale, as well as a few shirts..nothing really special, or specific to just the Melvins.

I'm curious to see what Big Belvins is going to sound like..I think I'm going to miss Sir Dave Scott stone.  For all the DSS fans out there, I kept hearing some guy (  :P) call out his name for a major part of the show.  He sounded like a dedicated fan...

When Jello said the U.S. was using torture techniques that even Sadaam and Hitler wouldn't use, I thought I was going to throw up.  Other than that, I enjoyed the concert.  Did you see the little pink haired girl that kept running around the pit?  There was a girl with huge white hair there, that looked like she was part of halloween.  Didn't really see anyone that looked under 23.  Chopklop is right- of the numerous Melvins concerts I've seen, the meathead factor was definitely highest tonight.

Toy store?

Yup, that's Buzz.  His self-confidence comes off as rudeness.

But they really DO need to comeback and do a headliner.  The way-too-short Melvins set before Jello came on was such a tease. And even though I'm sure they've played it a kajillion times and are sick of it, where was "Honey Bucket"?

But nonetheless, it was better than nothing.  I won't be missing them the next time they're in town.

I might be remembering it wrong, but even during the Houdini tour I rarely remember them playing Honeybucket.  I think that was mainly due to the sheep video that was in rotation on Beavis and Butthead/MTV, and all the requests from the audience (PLAY HONEYBUCKET!!! PLAY HONEYBUCKET!!!).

I was just kidding about the cold - it was kind of a jab at folks who think the border represents a massive change in climate. I love the weather in Vancouver anyway. You get actual seasons there, unlike, say, L.A. And the beer IS good, absolutely.

What..is..this.."seasons?"... you talk of?  :P
