IT looks like B&TB is still available to stream on scion a/v, but not to actually save the mp3's.  Is there anywhere on the scion AV website to still download the mp3's?  (not just stream)

Is Jared still in the Melvins?  I know he went on maternity leave a long time ago, but that was YEARS ago.  they've since been touring with either Trevor or Pinkus, over the past couple years.  Will he ever come back?

What are some cover songs the Melvins have done live that you hope they'll record on an album?

Who really played bass on the album Houdini?  And by that I mean the majority of the tracks?  I know Billy Anderson played bass on one track.  Did Lori Black play on any tracks, she was credited as being a band member, but I'm assuming the artwork was done before she was kicked out of the band

Seems like the cd is going for pretty high prices online.  Of course, it is definately worth paying $20.  But amazon.com does not have any "new" copies listed directly from them.  Although it is on amazon mp3, though.

I'm hoping that Ipecac did not stop printing the older Melvins releases, like GPT, Maggot, etc.

Interesting, why so many songs with "Larry" in the title?  It is pretty funny, but did they have a close friend named Larry?  Just curious

Will this release be an ep of all new material?  Or remixes?

Was the track "Skeeter" (from the King Buzzo solo cd) the same recording that was on the Late!/Foo Fighters Pocket Watch cd?  Or was it re-recorded?  In Pocket Watch Liner notes, it just says it was recorded '90-'91.

Is this re-release (the remastered one with the bonus demos) out of print already?  On amazon.com and half.com, the cheapest I've seen it was $16 used.  I bought it years ago, but was just curious.

Just listen to songs like "Buck Owens" and "Bar X", as well as a lot of the stuff on Stag.  Man, he played a mean bass!

any more word on if (and when) The Melvins are planning on working on a new album?  I know it was briefly mentioned by Coady in an interview a few months back, but at that time it was maybe.

Just out of curiousity, why do some people have a problem with Toshi's production on some of the Melvins albums?  I think it's just fine.  It's not overproduced, and despite everything the guitar is still mixed fine and crisp.

For what reason do The Melvins not play H.A.T. songs any more?  They went much further into their back catalogue with Big Biz, even playing stuff from Ozma and Gluey Porch Treatments.   H.A.T. is only 7 years old.

For almost 10 years, the Melvins have been wearing mu-mu's on stage.  Not that there is anything wrong with that, but why do they wear mu-mu's?

There is a song by A*** C*** (I dont want to spell out their real name because I'm at work) called "When I think of True Punk Rock Bands, I think of Nirvana and the Melvins."  Is this song honoring Nirvana and the Melvins, or is the song title just meant to be sarcastic?

Why exactly was Kevin kicked out of The Melvins?  I remember in late 2004 they cancelled a ton of tour dates for some odd reason involving Kevin.  He got back together with them for one show in 2005.  Later that year news broke that he was no longer in the band.  All I remember was reading somewhere that Buzz said "there's only so much I could take" or something like that. 


Anybody know what went wrong?

Is there a reason why he's not in the band anymore?  On Wikipedia, he's listed as a "former member", and apparently they signed a new record deal this month.  Anybody got the scoop?

Does Ipecac have to pay Atlantic much money to release all those live versions of songs from Houdini?  And also, does KISS have to get any royalties ? (not that either Atlantic or KISS's label need them).

Since Big Business and The Melvins are touring together soon, will they go as far as record an album together?  I think that would be sweet to hear something like that.  Their styles compliment each other well.

Did anyone catch that High on Fire interview on Fuse?  Joe Preston looks a lot taller and bigger on tv, sitting next to the other 2 guys in High on Fire and Juliya.  Seems like a nice guy too, as he had a big smile on his face.

Since they don't have a new permanent bassist yet (or haven't said who it is), they should have "guest" bass spots on their next album.  For instance, David Scott Stone, Adam Jones, Mike Kunka, Jared, etc...

Sorta like Dave Navarro did.  I think Gov't Mule did that too.

have any of the former melvins bass players used a 5-string bass while in the band?  All the pictures i've seen of them, i haven't seen one.  but i am trying to figure out how the bassists kept their bass guitars from being wavy and out of tune by down-tuning to C or lower for songs like Boris and a few others.

Alright, I thought that Joe Preston wouldn't want to play bass on a cover of a band that kicked him out of it.  Does he still have beef with King Buzzo or no?  I noticed that since that compilation "We Reach" is coming out in August, that song had to be recorded when Joe was in the band, and not their former bassist.
