Hola!
Great show last night, as always. Same setlist.
Dale is still a monster on drums. The rest of the guys were also sharp.
Nice venue.
Met Jules, Lunica, Maarten, Alex, and a few others who I can't remember their nicks right now. Missed my train back to Amsterdam after the show so ended up staying for more beers with Jules Maarten and Lunica.
Another show tonight. Unfortunately I won't be there  :( but Jules will keep us updated...

Finally got back home...  fuck that was a horrible flight - I was still drunk from last night.

I'll let The Fool, MOP (where's my beer mofo? :)) and the rest to write about the shows (how was the first one btw?) and will upload some photos with a few words later tonight. I'm going to bed.

Just woke up.  I'm still hurting.  Ears still ringing, back and shoulder muscles stiff as fuck.

Great show. They played as hard as ever. Will post a review and a few (bad) pics I took later today when I'm back to normal. Butty I got you  a poster. Can't wait for Tuesday!

Peace

Melvins Discussion / Rumours
November 09, 2007, 08:03:27 PM
Ok, I really don't know how much credibility u can give to this, but someone posted this on fasterlouder.com.au:

If you like the Melvins I have interesting news. I had a quick chat with Ray from Nunckukka Superfly and he told me that Buzz called Blackie recently and the melvins are keen to get down here ASAP. They want Nunchukka to do all the supports too!!! I hope this eventuates.

Are the Melvins finally coming down under? should I start saving for the Melbourne - Sydney - Brisbane tour that I plan to do once they finally show up? anyone? anyone?

I just hope they don't come around april as I'm going overseas for a month...

Melvins Discussion / Revolve / Metallica
August 18, 2006, 04:28:53 AM
ok, it's getting annoying...     I've been listening to stoner witch quite a lot lately in my car. now, last night a friend of mine, while driving with me and listening to revolve, tells me:  man, this sounds like metallica.  I never really thought this way but he was the 3rd person in about a month that told me that when listening to revolve...

any thoughts?

Melvins Discussion / Killer Melvins guitar reefs
August 11, 2006, 10:15:00 PM
ok, so I'm playing drums again after a long long time...    gonna have a jam with a friend who plays guitar sometimes this week and thought I would ask guitarists around here what would be a really cool melvins song to play on guitar.

I mean, I probably listen to the melvins from a "drums persperctive" and since I really can't play guitar, eventhough I can "spot a killer reef" I can't really say if a song is hard/easy/fun to play from a guitarist perspective (hope that makes sense).

My friend listens mainly to old stuff like led zep, blues etc. and I would like to introduce him to some melvins magic. he is a pretty good guitar player.  so any suggestions regarding what melvins songs he might dig playing guitar for are welcome.

Melvins Discussion / Lost Melvins cd's
August 01, 2006, 10:14:11 PM
Some fucker broke into my car last night...    now, I drive a shitty old van so there wasn't much to take except for about 30 cd's.
the fuckers took Ozma/GPT, Bullhead, H.A.T, GPT (new), Electroretard, Millenium monsterwork, Crybaby, Maggot and Bootlicker amongst other cd's like some pixies, pavement, dinosaur jr., therapy?, dead kennedys, pantera, primus, early nofx, and neil young...
That sucks!!!  luckily I took stag, houdini, pigs, lysol and eggnog out of the car just a few days ago...
