I would have missed this if Pinkus would not have called me and said they were coming.  Did not see it mentioned anywhere.  All I can say is wow.  The Melvins have it going on. The sets were awesome.  Same 2 piece opener for themselves, then jared and cody joined in.  I liked how they ended and stated back with the shinning cover.   The best night goat ever, now I Iike that song too (first eye flies, now night goat they just keep getting better and better).  This lineup is making me like songs I  don't which is a good thing.

Meet up with Pinkus and Jackie just before the show and headed back stage.  Met up with Carson (Honky's original guitar player too).  Had not seen him in a long time.  Met the Buzz, , Cody, and Jared and they are all some nice people.  I had meet Dale years ago.  We hung out after the show too.  When we all finally left the club (well Buzz left early)  there was no one around not even the workers.  Strange to walk around a venue with no one around and all the lights off.  At least Dale knew the way out.

The Melvins and Buttholes are getting excitied to play in October so you West Coasters are really lucky.  Sound like small(er) rooms too.

Man what a great show last night.  Got pretty drunk and stoned through out the sets.  Understand the Warehouse opened the doors a little early so the people outside could see the end of the Melvins sound check.  Porn came out and played the best show I have seen them do.  Tim was dress and Santa.  They played a bit of Sex Bomb.  Durning the duck calls the bumble bee sound guy quacked "the stars at night and big and bright" in the room full of people I was the only one to sing back DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS.  People in Houston really suck!  At times I'm ashamed to be form here.  Set was stretched out to about 40 to 45 mins.  After the set Dalvis talked a bit with the crowd.  There was like a 10 year old there and Dalvis asked if the boy wanted to sit in Santa lap and what he wanted for Christmas.  He was pretty witty and said Dales drums.  Dalvis gave him some drum sticks.  Short break and Big B came out.  First time I've seen them and man they kick ass.  There set was longer too than some of the earlier shows.  Buzz and Dale joined and they tore it up.  I can not believe how tight they are.  Buzz looked good and looks like he has lost some weight.  If only they would have played Funk Kings since they were in Houston would have been toh only thing to make it better.

sorry for wasteing your time reading this.
