Greetings!  Long time no see.  Can any Master-level Melvins fan help me with the actual date of this Casbah, San Diego show and the name of the gig poster artist?  I've lost track of his emails, and it's confusing to me.  I know that the show was cancelled and rescheduled due to fires.  It was the Big Business line-up and around the time of (a) Senile Animal.

Best, kind regards,

~Moshe (a) Senile Animal

Melvins Discussion / MELVINS OX OP TOYS
July 29, 2016, 06:09:36 PM
Gosh! I haven't seen you people for quite awhile.  I'm also getting so old, I can't even remember what this toy is called so I can't do a search on it here.  I have one for sale, but would like to read up on it before establishing a price.  Here is a stock photo.  Can anyone help?  Please check my upcoming eBay listings for the Melvins Zippo lighter, rare old Tshirts size M-L, and more.  I will offer BBS members 20% off.

To quote BO;  "But, having said that, if you look at all the records that were released each year, I like about the same percentage of those records as I ever did. It's just that my record collection has only expanded because years have gone by. There's a few bands that slip through the cracks, and you go, "Wow, I really like this." And then you buy it. But, by and large, it's very few."

That is EXACTLY how I discovered Melvins with Ozma.  I really don't care much for any of their contemporaries (or most of 80s music for that matter).  When I think about it, the 70s were a bit more exciting to me.  I was a teenager then, and most likely, my standards were just lower...

Melvins Discussion / Melvins T-shirt mystery
July 21, 2013, 12:04:12 PM
I was also perplexed by the initials "E.M." on the back of two of my T-shirts.  One is the Octopus, the other Skull and Crossbones.  Any ideas here?

Melvins Discussion / San Diego Casbah

Anyone from L.A. want to drive down to this gig?  I have my tix.  I will have to pass on FYF however.  I hate outdoor festivals and hate Indie Rock even more!  Then there's Harriet & Pappas, which is a very cool venue.  It's out in the middle of no where in the desert.  Outdoor patio with stage in a corral. I'm still debating this one...

Melvins Discussion / Melvins SF GAMH ticket giveaway
December 22, 2012, 08:57:16 PM
I have one ticket to give a Melvins fan in SF for the 12/29 show at GAMH. Unfortunately, I cannot make it.  I would like to make this an Xmas gift to someone who would not otherwise be able to go.  If you can afford a ticket, please buy one!  I guarantee, you will not regret it!!  This ticket is for someone who cannot afford the $25. In return, I would just like a review of the show. Please PM me so we can keep this anonymous.   :o
