Thank you god for these!  Here's the original song first but man the original, raw demo is so so SO much heavier!  Just replace the 3 "???" question marks in my links with a dot.

Aren't we lucky that despite how horrible some of their fans have been they kept writing anyway?  Maybe they'd actually post here if there weren't so many jerks.  I literally only remember Tom Haze stopping by to kick the creeps out.  He was awesome!  lol!

Have you said your "Hail Dales" 666 times today?  What are your favorite songs?

I'll write some stories when I get the time.  Just sharing some of their best songs imo until then.   8)

I'm not sure if he runs his Facebook page but this was posted earlier today:

"Who started grunge music? Maybe it isn't who you think. A lot of talented people involved for sure - even if it isn't your favorite genre."

Then this link was posted.  http://uproxx.com/music/history-of-grunge-music-nirvana-soundgarden-pearl-jam/

It's a pretty mainstream article but it cool seeing them get mentioned on Alice Cooper's official Facebook page.  His fans seem to be confused.

Melvins Discussion / My Ruin - Beware of God

This track sounds familiar doesn't it?

What's the story behind that clip?  Did The Melvins create it?  If so I wonder if they were given credit.

Here's another track by the same group.  It's....weak.

Melvins Discussion / The REAL Melvins conspiracy!
April 22, 2014, 04:43:51 AM
It seems like just the other day we were joking about lizard people.  Well it turns out at David Icke's forum, the guy who honestly believes lizard people are real, some people believe The Melvins are a part of a satanic cult.

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3097&highlight=tiger+woods&page=292

I only got about 5 pages in but it was as asinine as it was entertaining.

Some quick highlights include:

-A guy quoting the Prick track "How About" and saying, "Those are pretty chilling lyrics when you consider that the Rosicrucians
appear to be a blood-drinking cult."

-An Altamont (Dale's band) conspiracy theory because they formed the year Kurt Cobain died.

-An attempt to link The Water Glass to some type of pro-war conspiracy.

Melvins Discussion / The Melvins on Rocksmith
July 03, 2013, 12:22:17 AM
There's this great game that teaches you how to play guitar called "Rocksmith".  It's sort of like Guitar Hero except you plug in a real guitar and play along.

On the PC version people figured out how to make and upload their own songs.  Someone made a few for The Melvins and more tracks are on the way.  I'm not sure how accurate it is but it sounds pretty close and it's a lot of fun to play along with.

Hooch - The Melvins, Rocksmith custom

The Bit - Melvins, Rocksmith Custom

Goin' Blind - The Melvins, Rocksmith custom

Billy Fish - The Melvins, Rocksmith custom

If the notes make no sense this might help some (skip to around the 1:40 mark) but it helps owning the game.
