Meh, I hope you die Filip. The one fucking time they decide to play in Sweden, I'm in San Francisco. What are the odds? I'll just go ahead and sell all my Melvins records now...

Is that why you never never respond to my calls and messages?

Irony huh? When you're in their hometown they come to mine...I guess they like me better
If it makes you feel any better I was actually gonna spend 100 SEK on a poster which I intended to give you (signed and everything) BUT them fucking roadie morons took away all merch shortly after the show and I didn't even get to buy anything for myself. And I did have you in mind for the whole show... Something felt wrong with seeing the Melvins without my main-man. i love you buddy..
Get over it.. At least we got to see Mudhoney last summer right?  8)

yeah everybody should get a chance to hang with the melvins for a few minutes just to see that these guys deserve the attention, not just because they play great music, but they're great people too.

Ha, very cool. Sounds like you had a wonderful time! Yeah, they're quite an experience live with this lineup. I'll be seeing them twice in a few weeks.

What did you think of BB and Porn, dude?

How's Horns doing by the way?

I did have a wonderful time indeed  :D

Big Business: Never heard a single song before, LOVED them, decided to buy all their albums in the merchandise section but when I got there it was closed  :x Dale also played guitar on a few tracks which was cool.

Porn: HEAVY!

Horns is doing good mate, we're about to enter the studio in late April (read all about it on our website www.hornsofanguish.com)
I'll make sure you get a copy since you're so supportive

Well, I don't have it anymore and since we've quit Goregeous Magazine I can't go to the site and get it.. did someone by any chance save it?

Holy fucking hell in the name of fuck!
For those of you who have been here fo a while, if you remember me, you probably remember me as "that swedish guy who always spams about his own band AND is complaining about the Melvins never playing his shit country"

Well, it was FINALLY time for the Melvins of mass destruction to come visit Sweden and guess what... I was there.

So, I had some huge expectations on this one to say the least. Melvins have been my favourite band now for about 8 years and this was truly a wet dream coming true. I was a little worried they'd play many of the Senile Animal songs (since I'm having a hard time appreciating it) but to my amazement they played almost every single one... and I LOVED it. I can't believe they're SO much better live! The duo-drumming comes in real handy live, even more than on record I'd say and just as someone said in the Stockholm thread, it's a lot cooler with some cool drumming (and for your information it was insanely well synchronized) than just some guitar feedback bullshit. Anyway, they did throw in some old classics as well; Sky Pup, Oven, Dwight Fry, Set Me Straight, The Bit, Let It All Be among others. I was perfectly satisfied when they were done even though I didn't get to hear some of the ones that I hoped for (Honey Bucket, Manky, Anaconda, Lovely Butterflies for example). The only real dissappointment was the fact that they only played for little over an hour. But hey, I'm not gonna complain, I'd be happy with just five minutes.

After the show me and my buddy sat down and had some beers and tried to understand what we've just experienced... I still don't get it. Seeing the Melvins live isn't reality to me. When it was time to go home we figured we might as well try to get a talk with the band... We went back where the tour bus stood and talked with the roadies... We kindly asked if there was any chance we could get a glimpse of our heros and one of them responded "I''ve known Buzz since he was 12, he won't be coming down to talk to you guys"... FUCK! What kind of rockstar diva behaviour is that!? We didn't give up though. We stood there like two morons and waited and after a while Dale came out... We had a nice chat and got some autographs and stuff. Then he went back up backstage only to return a few moments later saying "you guys wanna come up?" ....... HELL YEAH WE DO!!!! I couldn't believe it.. 1 hour ago I was paralyzed in front of the stage and just enjoyed this unreal moment and now we were about to enter the backstage area and talk to all of them.... We followed Dale in and there they all were.. Buzz, Dale, Cody and Jared... We felt like idiots standing there and just watching them... I't's never been so exciting watching someone (Buzz) drink orange juice. And I was surprised how friendly they were. They where talking and joking and they gave us autographs and seemed to actually enjoy having us there. After 10 minutes of us telling them how grateful we were and how good the show was we said thank you and went out. I STILL CAN''T BELIEVE WE DID IT!!!! It was amazing... That's my story. I hope you enjoyed reading and I hope I didn't ramble too much...

I realize you americans who've seen them a couple of times might think it's nothing special and all that and that I'm a complete dork who are this excited about all this. But I'm telling you this is an unreal experience to me and I've never been happier in my whole life..  Feels like the pieces missing is now in place. Really means a lot to me.. If someone here haven't seen them and ever gets the chance to; GO SEE THEM!!!!

Go on and read and don't be a bunch of Mr-know-it-all-narrow-minded-bitch-ass-elitist-we-wont-listen-to-music-that-wasnt-released-by-southern lord-t&g-Ipecac-or-other-underground-cool-as-fuck-labels-like-that-kind of people

That's funny, since llots of people from the 'underground' are starting to dislike labels as SL. I too hate all that exclusive and limited crap. Who can keep track of all Boris releases?

Come on man, that was just a desperate try to be funny.. I was being sarcastic.
I actually like SL.. sure they have some REALLY uneccesary releases but the music is still fucking awesome.

CHECK BACK IN A FEW HOURS FOR THE INTERVIEW
