Whatever...can anyone see AC/DC doing a Melvins song?  I don't think AC/DC would know what to do with themselves....

that even if they were to collaborate with Wyclef Jean, (or Timbaland...)

it would still be amazing.

Saccharine Trust  (SOMEONE has to give this band props...and Melvins are the best to do it)

Don't remember.  A no longer existing club in LA just before Bullhead was released.  Balboa Theatre?  Not Jabberjaw but saw them there again just around Eggnog.

Also saw them at Alligator Lounge.  They did a set of the entre Stoner Witch record.  Always way ahead of the curve, even back then...

Oh...and in regards to Down...I have no interest, never had any interest and no opinion on their fans at all.  Got in and out of this show as fast as possible.

Having said that, if Down playes no music but instead do nothing but this for 45 minutes, count me in next time they play.  I love this...

God damn...sounded amazing.  Greatest band in the history of music, end of story.  Same set list I do believe but w/ The Bit in place of Night Goat.

And for being an old man, something kind of cool about seeing the Melvins just kill it and being home by 10:15.

Melvins Show Reviews / Re: Melvins Set Time?

Actually meant what time they would go on.  I know it could vary from venue to venue but on a tour like this it's most likely around the same time, more or less.

Melvins Show Reviews / Melvins Set Time?

Sorry for the post just on this question.  Maybe others are interested too...

What has been the set time more or less so far for the Melvins when they are on w/ Down?  Not interested in any other bands...

still searchin the patient.

but from what I've heard the grit ain't there.   theres no edge. melvins are all and more of the innovation and twelve times the kick.

This is 100% correct.

And I wish Adam would move on to something different now...

tik purchased for detroit.
well give down a chance only as a show of respect to the one and only melvins.
will give tool another chance with a new approach based upon rand.
the patient it is.

but why is it maynard james keenan?  people who go by full names aren't starting off well with me.
That is funny.  You know he must regret the whole "Maynard" moniker now.  Like a really, really bad tattoo.  Oh wait...he has one of those too...

TOOL rock the house

show me how much I value your opinion.  throw a track at me that'll sink a hook in.

ready... GO!

Wity retort........FAIL

no wit intended.  so damn, I must be good.

for real rand.   try me.    guide me to the path of tool-nation. where do I begin?

I'll give it a shot.  Full disclosure...major Melvins fan since pre-Bullhead.  I'm fine with Tool.  Don't love them or hate them and over the years have become wayyyyyyyyy bored with them.
Anyway...the first time I heard Stinkfist I swear to you my first thought was..."Adam's been listening to some Melvins recently..."  This was '96 before any real link with the band had occurred (tour support, etc...).
Anyway, that's the best I have.
