Melvins Discussion / Re: Melvins vs. Lustmord ATP NY 2011

It should be at a West Coast version of ATP NY, at a similarly run down resort.  Maybe in Ocean Shores, Grays Harbor?

Worst Melvins Interview Ever...

Wha?!?!?!  You must be as high as Slick "Dickey" Rick.  That's one of the BEST "interviews" I've ever seen with the Melvins/Marvins.  Thoroughly entertaining.

There was a Scion remix thing for Boris a while back, they did remixes of BUZZ-IN if I recall correctly. I only saw it available on iTunes.
Yep.  Those were terrible.

Quote from: ManWithNoName on July 28, 2010, 10:08:55 AMMike Portnoy is an extremely talented drummer, do I like his style or his band? Absolutely not (then again, I don't own a fannypack).

For the record, I whole heartedly agree on all counts but I still like me some tool. :p

either way, very few bands can stand up to the melvins.
Yes.  Agreed.

I dont know, Coady could pass for a member of a hipster band surely?

Murder City Devils much?

and Jared has a beard
Therefore he must be the singer of this folky looking troop.  The guy with the gray hair in the back must be the pump organ player, and the big fella front right is the lap steel player.  The pretty boy is the acoustic guitar strummer and does the falsetto harmonies.

danny carey does use a bronze set. and dale and coady's sets are very different. i think only the kicks and snares are the same.
Their snares are different.  Coady plays a Greg Keplinger steel snare.

That Danny Carey kit is incredible, it's made from hundreds of melted down old cracked Paiste cymbals.

Already linked to your interview from elsewhere in the intertubes.  Great job.  Seemed like one of their more candid interviews.

The last two questions there are priceless.  Thanks for the link.

I'll be there with a small entourage.

Hell's Kitchen?  Hells yes!  Haven't seen 'em there since the HAT tour.  Might just have to make that show.

There seems to be something wrong with the poll. Pigs Of The Roman Empire doesn't have 100% of the votes.

Fixed.

I like Walsby's drawing there too.  The FNM shirt and Pitchfork on his computer really top it off...

In fact not at all until now.  Welcome.  Everyone here is a dick, and if they say they're not, they're lying.
