Melvins Discussion / Re: Ever have a Melvins dream?

I dreamt once that they opened for Rush and that I ran lights and Billy Anderson did FOH and that Buzz and I sat down front at their soundcheck and eyeballed 'em
and learned firsthand from their bassist that their drummer's name is pronounced peert and not purt and Mark and I stood right under Lerxst as he played their set for over an hour and drank cervazas

Wow.

It was a blast all around!!
After chatting w/ Buzz and Dale about baseball....

Toshi and Dale opened up with the show with a John Bonham meets Gary Numan vibe.
After 15-20 minutes of heavy hitting bliss, out strolls Mr. Trevor Dunn and Sir Buzzo.

Mr. Trevor Dunn fucked shit up on his bass. 8)
I actually spent most the night watching him ripp through classics such as...
Jew Boy and Black Bock

Toshi was slinging the vinyl and shirts.
Definitely a MELVINS classic. =D>

I'd be too scared to talk directly to Buzz and Dale.
But Toshi...I'd maybe talk to him.
Trevor and Patton are too wicked.

It looks like Dale and Coady use the same tree trunks. I got one from Dale in 2006 and it looks just like that.

All the Grumpys serve great food.

Don't kid yourself, Buzz is very insecure.

Is that you, Dr. Phildo?

Legendary Shack Shakers -  I saw them last month. Was talking with drummer Brett when I bought the CD. He complimented my Melvins shirt and said that they are hoping to tour with Melvins soon when their schedules allow. I think I said something like "I'll probably shit myself".
With Duane as a full timer in LSS, this is bound to happen.

Also:

Wayne Hancock

I was just going to put "The Train."

mastering is $700 per each 12"
vinyl is $10 for each 12"

so, the 13 LPs in plain paper inner sleeves would be $220 for 100 box sets;  $175 for 200;  $160 for 300.

the deluxe jacket packaging, production, distribution, shipping, and retail markup is additional

Melvins Ltd. would have to sell many sets to make it a worthwhile proposition; they don't have that
many fans willing to pay two-thirds Large minimum for a boutique item.
Arena gods TOOL, on the other hand, might be able to pull it off...but those guys don't have the body of work to fill a dozen
LPs. U2 could.
