I would LOVE for any of that Cynthia Massey stuff to come out. Maybe it was just a single song session but I have a hard time believing they didn't at least sound check a few tunes.

Does anyone know if there will be a repress of CDs for HAT?

Why do you ask, is it out of print on CD? Buzz once said it was their one Ipecac album where stores had the most returns to distributors. I'd guess there are plenty of used/never opened CDs out there.

Why is everyone jumping all over pre-orders through the Ipecac store when it doesn't come out for 3 months?  Both of these reissues will be easily available via standard retail in February. I pre-ordered the new Mr. Bungle through Bullmoose a few weeks before release date. I had it in my hands the Wednesday of release week.



I think I'll play the wait and see game on these reissues. I wish they had gone back to Third Man. First off there's the vinyl itself. It had better be top quality, and secondly does anyone know if these are gatefolds, and with good quality cardboard stock? They should be, especially with H.A.T.
On the packaging of vinyl, the quality of the cardboard is important. Compare the cardboard stock on any of the Third Man reissue gatefolds to say NWB Ipecac gatefold. Third Man has good thick non-wavy stock, like an album from the 1970s. Ipecac and countless other labels lately do it on the cheap, and you get super this super-thin cheap ass cardboard. Am I the only one annoyed buy these things?

Yes, I can;t find it anywhere for sale. Amazon had a few that were used and in "good" condition but now they're gone. I don't own it on CD but would like to if anyone knows where to find it.

Fucking DOG ISLAND, am I right? One of their best tracks from any era. I love tripping over classic tracks and obsessing over how good they are.

Got my record yesterday.  Awesome neon art.  Question for those that got it: Is there a sound dropout for everyone for a split second on the last song, TODAY YOUR LOVE, right at the tail end of Buzz saying "Little German Boy" in the first chorus?

Got my cheapy CD today, ordered w/ the Helios Creed reissue CD. Yeah, only took a few days to get here.
Before I even listened to it, I put the Besides CD and the H.A.T. Ipecac CD along w/ the original sleeve/inlay card together into a clear slimline double-CD case. Seems appropriate and convenient. The new H.A.B. sleeve can go on a wall or something.

Yes, I did notice that slight glitch on Today Your Love. I'll go back and listen to the original 7" and compare.
