Melvins Discussion / Dale Crovers setup on tama.com
October 03, 2006, 09:50:19 AM
the rather recent update to http://www.tama.com/ has mr crovers setup on it:

http://web.ibanez.co.jp/tama_artist.php?artist_id=48

it's pretty much the same as what is on http://www.themelvins.net/gear.html except the cymbals are not on it as those are no tama, but I guess that the stuff like the custom color name and such are a nice treat

DCH ("Deserted Cities of the Heart"
(Cream)

On this street where time has died
The golden treat you never tried
In times of old in days gone by
If I could catch your dancing eye

It was on the way
On the road to dreams, yeah
And my heart's drowned in your love stream, yeah
My heart's drowned in your love stream

On this dark street the sun is black
The winter life is coming back
On this dark street it's cold inside
There's no retreat from time that's died

It was on the way
On the road to dreams, yeah
And my heart's drowned in your love stream, yeah
My heart's drowned in your love stream

I just got around listening to a interview form 2001 where dale said a single was supposed to come out on sub pop, but sub pop tried to rip them off so they went and put it out on sympathy records

I guess they put anal satan on it after that happened considering it's lyrics:
you're going to the principal's office
you're going to get a spanking
anal satan
you know jon, you're really being such a prick
anal satan
you know bruce, you're really being such a prick
anal satan

beware the wrath of the melvins ;)

Melvins Discussion / discography: night goat cd single
November 30, 2003, 11:42:43 AM
there is a cd version of the night goat single, mine reads ARRCD29/189 LC8323

the cd case is pure paper that tries to mimic the case of the 7" the only difference of the artwork is the address and logo on the back is covered by a black background holding the address of amprep germany on the left, amprep 'noise' logo and a barcode on the right, the cd itself is black and it's labeled in a light blue/grey, I would scan it and post a pic but I don't own a scanner
