Dale was in to the speedo only back in the 90's

who the hell are you and why must you be ill informed. he wore it at least up until 2004. since then ive seen him in biker shorts.

addendum: maybe i'll make a mumu for this tour. what era should it be from? i think i remember one with the frilly collar and flower print being the most obnoxious and gaymelvinsish, but the F and U were pretty funny. Also- no one can mess with the classic X. I mean say you happen to be drawing a picture of buzz or reflecting on a mumu moment- doesn't the X normally come to mind?

Also. This year. I want to do the Melvins interview.
You could rock the camo with a big "DY" on the front and "TM" on the back.  I'll buy you at least 3 rounds if you wear it.

and give up my anonymity? make an ass out of myself? the temptation is that of a gay strolling in central park around 1940 after dusk. consider it considered.

Well I am still waiting...

It's not their best song, but it still is a awesome song.

i might catch flack- but honeybucket live is eh whereas revolve live is the supreme choice. why do i feel like i saw both this tour? you know....all these shows are starting to melt together. only the first few really stick out in terms of me remembering the setlist. hum

Electroretard for $40+$10 shipping is fair by most standards,
when I bought the 2nd copy I paid $50!!! c'mon sister, get real.

Dude, Buzz was selling ELECTRORETARD for $10 less than a year ago in LA.
I have never seen Electroretard go for over $50.
Your a a real good rationalizer.

this was the last cd i bought! whatever tour they were selling them...i never buy cds but i saw electroretard and i had tah have eeeet. since all of my cds have been stolen (not once but twice...) i have only a few originals. 2pac, slint and melvins (electroretard and GPT reissue).

what did buzz say? i wish i couldve gone to this one too but was unable... i dont remember if ive seen them at bowery before- i think irving plaza is their usual nyc stop (mnhtn)... i would def be on the mezz for a venue like bowery
Why? Is the Bowery full of tough guys and hooligans?

nah, its just a killer mezz.

I understand that a lame crowd can be a hell of a distraction, but like was said, the band was really really good.  I was up in the front about five feet from Crover, so I didn't really see or notice all of that stuff - maybe it would've annoyed me too, I don't know.  But I had a hell of a good time!  Great setlist, extremely tight, Crover was incredible - seeing him play up close was truly awesome.  I actually like this venue better than the Bowery Ballroom - I thought they sounded better last night than when I saw them at the Bowery in 2002.   Plus the stage setup felt like you were closer to the band , as opposed to the Bowery.

I really liked what they did with My Generation - really nasty drummer vocals - and Boris was the perfect closer - just crushing mayhem followed by a super-intense quiet section - with whale sounds and big-baby backup vocals - very satisfying!  Almost everything I love about the Melvins in one song.

I also bought Dale's old gloves from Walsby for $10 and later Dale  gave me a drumstick at the end of the show - so that was pretty cool of him.

we must have been near one another.
the show was really awesome. i agree with vin on the crowd. someone poured beer on me. in the end it kind of came down to: SHUTUPTHEYAREPLAYINGBORIS,YOU IDIOTS. i had buzz's gold tooth glint in my eye the whole time. nice.
