It wasn't financially viable, Buzz has said that H.A.T. on cd had the most returns
of any album by them from retail.

You're not thinking of Stag? I think I remember something about that.

i'm pretty sure he said it about H.A.T.  and who are these idiots returning it!?

The one that I never got why it wasn't released on vinyl is 26 Songs. They must have figured that 10 songs was easy to find on vinyl used, and it's a major upgrade to have it all again on CD remastered.

Fantomas - Suspended Animation would have been nice too. The limited CD is cool, but to have the actual calendar design in full size with the record would have been sweet.

yeah, Suspended Animation would look really cool.  that's what i'm saying with H.A.T., it would do Mackie's art a lot of justice on vinyl.

you know, i really kick myself for not getting all those.  i seen the whole set at a record store when they came out and was baffled since there were no song titles on the sleeves.  they were $2 or 3 dollars each and i only picked up one thinking they were different versions of the same single.  this was when i didn't follow the Melvins as closely as i do now so it wan't until much later i realized the mistake i made...

and did i say Foaming...i meant "The Anti-Vermin Seed".  maybe i'll just get that 7".

am i right in assuming this has never been released on vinyl?  i don't see why not.  it has some of the coolest artwork, plus it would be cool to hear foaming on vinyl...

i definitely think the Melvins venture away from the norm more often as a 3-piece.  don't get me wrong i like them with Big Business...i think they're songs are more accessible (for lack of a better word) with the new line-up.  not that there's anything wrong with that.  i just miss the weirdness.  the last two albums especially have this classic rock vibe...

the Melvins know how to make money.  that's why the shit is limited...as for NWB...they should've trimmed the fat on that one and released it as an EP.  there's some good stuff on there, and then there's just some BullHonky.

For $50. I'll pass on this. I'd go about $30 max. I'm not mad about it, I just don't need to pay that much for a piece of vinyl and some artwork. Same reason I never bought aSA from Hydrahead.

i was pissed about A Senile Animal.  bought it for $50 when it came out.  then a few months later they "find" more and decide to sell them for $30 at shows.  what the fuck?
