Except for that horrible 2 minute opening on 'Victory...' which is easily the worst thing on this whole thing. I don't know why the hell Buzz chose that. The song kicks in nicely enough without it so it's a bit baffling why it required a Foo Fighters-esque intro.

Melvins without Dale is a totally different beast..remember those recent shows with just Coady.it was ok, not the same thing, if you ask me not that great, especially some songs sounded a bit weird.Coady plays fast and busy, Dale even playing a simple pattern is on another level. i see it Dale changed his style a bit, set up too.Buzz changed his style/sound a lot through the years too, inevitable

I don't think it has to do with Dillard, or that's the main reason.i think Buzz wants to stay busy, as prolific as possible. Besides Mangled Demos, which sounded as an early incarnation of the band, i guess Melvins 83 since Tres Cabrones is like regular Melvins with a more straight, generic drumming

mmmh are you sure?i think he still hit a lot harder than Coady, if you happen to hear that Evil New War drum battle Dale's volume is doubled

I know I've told this story here before but I met Barney at a show in Flint MI.  I believe it was 2006.
and I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND A DAMN WORD HE SAID.     that accent is THICK.

on a related note, another story I already told, I recently met another gentleman from Birmingham.  I knew he was from Birmingham immediately because I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND A DAMN WORD HE SAID.
