Melvins Discussion / Re: Melvins 2015 Dates

I'm hoping for a few more UK dates..... Can't see it happening though, we've been short changed the past few tours. There's never anything north of Bristol!

Are the Karp songs the same as the album versions?

So can anyone who has their grubby hands on these comment on the "remastering"? Did they just make everything louder?

I've listened to Lysol and a quick flick through Bullhead and I'd say they've done a proper remastering rather than just making it louder. It seemed to me that the bass is a lot more in the mix on Lysol.

I got these in the post this morning.
They were only posted out yesterday! The usual excellent service from Norman Records in the UK.

Not listened to them yet though, still waiting for permission off the boss to put them on!

Once again only the South of England is being catered for :(

I still have available a second edition copy of the Melvins Vs. Minneapolis cd. It is near mint, only been used once to put the tracks on to my computer. Send me a message if you're interested.

Last night was loud, sweaty, punishing and epic.
I have to say that was the best I've seen them for quite a while. There's was more noise sprinkled through the set. And you know you're on to a winner when Youth of America is played!
The new tunes fit in really nicely with the older stuff. They've certainly spruced up the set list!

In short, two thumbs up!

Just need Sleep to be announced as support
:-k
It's looking unlikely but we'll see.
Looking at the new dates that have been added for Sleep I doubt it as well. I'm just hoping for the impossible to come true and that there's going to be more than just a London show in the UK by Sleep!

Tickets for Manchester bought. Just need Sleep to be announced as support to save me having to trek to London for the ATP thing!

Because there's no sign of a Manchester date I shall be venturing over the boarder to Leeds. I think tickets are getting very low for the Leeds date people. Bristol has sold out as well!

I want this. But I won't be able to afford it!  :(
