More than 50 euro's + shipping for a cap?

Almost seems like this is what they'd wanted ten years ago, keep Coady but ditch Jared. Now with this injury and your they have the excuse to say "hey this is working" without it ruffling too many feathers. Not thatBuzz would care, likely. But Dale and Coady might (if Buzz had told only Jared to fuck off after Bulls & Bees). Am I making any sense?

Why you think they want to ditch Jared? Did I missed something? In the same podcast I mentioned Buzz said there is no beef with the Big Biz guys.

I'm quite sure Jared lives in Seattle now and he's still playing with Unwound, and Coady is still in LA where Buzz, Dale and Steve are located as well.

Coady now in Melvins, HOF, Big Biz and Murder City Devils, crazy! I'm really excited though, my fav times i've seen Melvins was with the Big Biz lineup, and big part of that was the double drums.
 


 

Hopefully not as a replacement for Crover. Dale's missed the last two Melvins tours and he's going to tour with his solo band in August, not drumming obviously.

Still seems really weird the Melvins not touring to promote a new album, Melvins 1983 excluded. I wouldn't be surprised if another 1983 album happens soon as Dale won't need to drum for that either.

When Buzz said "we're" getting Coady back in the band I read it as Buzz and Dale as that is the core of the band. But perhaps he ment differently, hope not.

Really exciting news. Now if this is for one tour and a release or for the foreseeable future I don't know, but from hearing how Buzz mentioned it I do really think we might get the double drumming back. I  couldn't find anything already being mentioned on the forum so started a new thread for this.

They are playing Bullhead in its entirety (almost), that's not so bad  Perhaps they could have added Blood Witch instead of Revolve or Honey Bucket this tour, but besides that I think we in europe and US got great setlists this year.

I agree, just hope he gets well soon and i'm sure we see him back in action after this tour.

I really hope he isn't in too much pain and gets well soon. Having back problems myself, I know it can hurt as hell.

If he has to hang it up, I think they already have the perfect replacement in Coady. ideally Coady stays in the band now and Dale returns so we have the brutal double drums back in the band.

I would like to go to Bristol some time. Seems like a small venue, and they always start the tour there which means plenty of merch.

It is a killer setlist for sure. Good for them to celebrate the 40 anniversary like this, it reads explosive, and I think this set will convince folks that see them for the first time.
Personally, I think 'Snake Appeal' is the only one (besides the 2 from bad mood) that I have not witnessed live yet. I was hoping for one from Honky (my all time favourite) and one from HAT (first tour I saw them), but no complaints really. 3 more weeks and it's on!

Cool you went to the UK buddy! How many more times will you see them this tour? I have tickets for both dutch shows. Besides from the residency shows this might actually be my favorite setlist I will be seeing them perform.

I prefer Jared's vocals and dry sense of humor instead of Steve's goofiness and banter. Still, I do like Steve's bass parts and effects he brings in live on some songs.

A different setlist every night is very interesting, didn't really expected that. It might also be that they didn't got enough stage time to do their entire set at one of the two shows, so they skipped two or three songs.

Anyway, I hope they keep Snake Appeal and Zodiac in the setlist for their european tour.

Easily A Senile Animal. It was the first new album as a fan and it came out a few months before I first saw them live.
