I wonder if we will see Trevor Dunn back playing with Melvins this year. That surely must happen at some point with the new Melvins Lite album right?

I've got the Sorry in Pig Minor record and 3 cd's. I had the Honky record in my cart at first as well but with 1 record less it saved me a total of 34 dollars shipping costs. I might as well just get the black version of Honky when they play here in the summer.

This is really good news, hopefully it's something totally new but Melvins playing older Flipper songs would be a treat as well. It will be a 10 inch btw, not sure if that has been mentioned here before, don't think so.

I've seen Flipper with Bruce and Rachel in 2012, and that was great. Apparently Flipper with Yow will be coming over to Europe this summer, Flipper confirmed this on Facebook.. I've heard that Mike Watt will be joining them on bass. Really excited to see them with this lineup.

Anyone have information on when the regular version of the vinyl will be released?
Sunday 31st at 1200 central. (one version)
The next Sunday at 1200 central. (another version)
The following Sunday at 1200 central. (a third version)

The colours (in no order) are white, pink and white with haze.

The fourth version (black) will be for sale on tour in Europe. God be praised.

you are at the first show of the tour so no need to panic Jules :)

I'd love to see Billy Fish and The Brain Center At Whipples in the setlist. Those (and tons more deep cuts) would work great with Steve

YES. especially The Brain Center At Whipples. such a brilliant song.

I don't think they played it live since the HAT tour?

Great news they are coming back. July is the most difficult month to take a day off from work for me, so hopefully I can catch them in a weekend.

Melvins Discussion / Re: European Tour 2018

After almost exactly one year ago, I've seen Melvins again yesterday in Haarlem. What a great show, loved it. The band had so much fun, great to see. Unfortunately missed Shitkid, got at the venue a bit too late. I'm not a huge Jon Spencer fan, so during that spent some time with friends. Highlights for me in the setlist were At a Crawl, Let it all Be, Don't forget to Breathe, and Rebel Girl with Shitkid. It was also great to hear The Talking Horse again live, I'm quite sure they haven't played that since the ASA tour? Sound was good, I only couldn't really hear Pinkus his vocals at some parts. Merch same as mostly in Europe, shirts and a poster.

Although I really liked this set and lineup, I do hope to see both Coady and Crover again on stage at some point. Maybe take it even a step further, and do double bass, double drums? It wouldn't suprise me.

damn that's good, thanks Cory. I wonder, there was talks of a new Butthole Surfers album earlier this year, but it has gone quiet since.
