Lovely Butterfly isn't finished yet. There's a few test mixes sent back and forth but no final mix has been done. for that track , as of right now, i contributed Vocals and Keyboard. But who knows the final mix might not include me. As of right now I Am The Sun has my individual files and were waiting on him to mix it.

You don't have to put my name either.
I think there should be liner notes with our own website and contact addresses.

Shit i was also calling Green tomarba "martians" cuz "MAR's" involvement. As far as the butterfly track i have no clue. I don't feel like i'm involved enough to say. I kinda jumped on board really late in the program.

I'm kidding around with the martians band . im just throwing out names.

Those band names and the last mix of Lovely Butterfly are fine as far as I'm concerned. Although it's up to everyone else too, obviously,
hence throwing out suggestions for people involved and to finally get this done.

The current mix is fine but I wanted to experiment with some extra vocals and noises before we settle on the mix we currently have. Unfortunately I can't do anything with the mix until I replace my laptop's hard drive. I should be done with the song by the end of the week. Sorry for the delay

haha, no I didn't have a bad experience with Merzbow.  His stuff is not really my thing (except the beat-oriented material), but he could still bring some creativity to the table, and might be good as long as it's not a free-form noise record (like COD).  What I meant was that it would be cool to have subtle amounts of noise, while still being able to hear the drums/guitar/bass/vocals.

A Merzbow/Melvins (Merzvins?) album would be good if Merzbow approached the collaboration in the same way he approached the Rock Dream album he did with Boris

Lovely Butterfly is coming together pretty nicely. I've been adding some noise today and I'll get to the vocals sometime this week.

Thanks for the guitar and bass tracks Green Honey!

I've put a little work in on the drums for Lovely Butterfly.

Those samples sound promising, especially the V/VM and Speedranch tracks

My friend snagged their set list from this show. I'll post it once he sends me a pic.

I stuck around for a good portion of Down's set, thinking they might surpass my expectations and pleasantly surprise me. Unfortunately, they were totally boring and we left before we had to suffer through an encore. All of the Down fans I talked to were nice guys. There was some fights and drunken idiocy but nothing too obnoxious. The Melvins, on the other hand were ridiculously tight and heavy. I swear they get better every time I see them. Weedeater was also great.

What's in their set list for this support tour, anything the 4 piece have not played as of yet?
Smiling Cobra and Mr DNA are new additions to the set list.  I don't believe they've played With Teeth as a 4 piece yet either.

They also played POTRE and Bloated Pope as a four piece in Eugene, but I'm not sure that's going to be part of the Down tour setlist.  I'm hoping they'll throw it in.

What's Mr.DNA?

Is that a cover or a new song?

Edit: just went and found out for myself. Guess I gotta go hear the original before I see 'em

I think this will probably be kind of similar to the Agoraphobic Nosebleed remix album

"Buzz Osborne and the gang presented each remixer with a full album to work with and pull from to create their track"

This sentence indicates that this album will be much more interesting than your typical remix album. I hope they list who remixed what albums in the liner notes.
