I thought we were done making fun of walsby, but if not, I'm into it!  Ever notice how he had the dream job of touring with the melvins and yet denigrates the people who make that possible? I notice.

I don't know if dub or reggae is the way to go, but after hearing the Earth Legacy of Dissolution album I would love to hear some remixes done by friends and colleagues of the band.

"It Came From Seattle" for $400 (Audio Daily Double)

"The Melvins, heard here, were an early band in this rock genre that swept America in 1992:"

"(Bill: [no response] That song sucks, that's for sure!)
[audience breaks into laughter]
(Alex: I'm sure the Melvins will appreciate your comments, & we have less than a minute to go!)"

He lost $1,700, rightfully so.

What song was it?

I like to put Melvins on at bars with internets jukebox. They have Stoner Witch, Houdini, and sometimes Stag , so I put on Hag Me usually.

Excuse me, but i have a bit of a rant. So i lent a bunch of my thrash CDs (mostly Vio-lence, Exodus, etc) to a friend about a month ago and put Houdini in the pile thinking he would appreciate and love it, but today he got back to me about it and said it was just "okay". I dont get it, that album changed my taste in music forever. Its one of those albums that doesnt take any time at all to get into. Dammit, how can you be so into Municipal Waste but just bat an eyelash upon hearing Houdini? I didn't make a big deal of this at all at the time becuase i didn't want to look like a crazy Melvins fan and everyone has different taste and blah blah blah, but still.. COME ON! I bestowed a gift upon you by letting you touch and listen to my Melvins album, why can't you appreciate it like me?

I loaned my brother houdini, thinking it would be right up his alley. I mean this is the guy who started listening to metallica, megadeth, anthrax, and slayer when I still thought mtv was "where it's at" (they still played videos back in those days) . He loves KISS for god's sake! I told him goin blind was on there and that it was cobain's favorite band to try to entice him. I thought it would be a natural. I were wrong.

I just think of manchild 3, the "king buzzo is my god" guy, I guess that's me. Brian sounds kind of bitter though. I tried to be sober, clear, and concise when I was spending hard-earned (by my girlfriend) money on music by a band he ostensibly loves. And on a poster by an artist who I never would have heard of if he hadn't put a melvins cd in his last comic. I'm sure many people on this board are in bands or have been and I've sure many of us have been at the merch table putting up with the drunks. His problem, unlike mine, is that people actually like the band and want to buy stuff, the nerve! Anyway, he still seemed nice enough when I was dealing with him and he's right about eugene, what a bunch of mongoloids.
