Does anybody else think that some of the vocals on Suicide In Progress sounds like Bugs Bunny? Especially this part: "There's a little animal...".

When my 3.5 year old heard it she said it sounded like burt from sesame street

Melvins Discussion / Re: Do we know Buzz?
« on: July 10, 2008, 10:16:51 AM »

i have always considered Buzzo as a freak anarchist...

no dis at all  but I'll disagree.    the older Buzz gets the more his conservative side shows.  outside of the band he seems to live a very tame and civilized life.   like he says, loosely quoted:  "I wake up early, spend time with my wife, don't do drugs, don't drink."    he's living the life that a profesional musician survives,  as opposed to say.. dee dee ramone or kurt cobain.  his twisted side seems to be channeled artistically only.   beyond that he comes across as a mature, intelligent, relatively down-to-earth person.

reminds me of that flaubert quote in the real frank zappa book "Be regular and orderly in your life so that you may be violent and original in your work."

Looks like they won't be coming to boise despite rumors to the contrary. I'm going to jackson hole to see them and I'm not taking my ol' lady, that way we're both happy. (hope she doesn't read this)

I talked briefly with Jared and Toshi at a Big Business show in SLC, very pleasent fellows. Jared was selling merch while the opening bands played. True gentlemen.
