love where it says,in it's splendid entirety

Kind of a bummer that they got the punctuation wrong though. "It's" only ever means "it is." Not that it matters, but you know...

The music of the Melvins is too much for normal human beings to cope with, and eventually you die.

Thanks for the review! I can't believe the crowd didn't want an encore. ?

True that my friend. I've only been to a couple of shows, but each time the crowd would've given their eye teeth for another encore.

For a can of beans or a roll of toilet paper, I will travel to your location and sing any Melvins sing you want to hear. I can also sing any of Hansen and Nickelback's material. Please message me if you're interested. Serious requests only please.

Melvins Discussion / Re: Covers I'd like to hear...

I think you could hand the Melvins any song and you'd have no idea what the end result would come out like. Look at the Green Manalishi, or Sacrifice - completely different animals to the original versions. In that sense, it's very hard to pick a song that I'd like to hear them cover.

At a push, I'd just tell them to do the Titanic theme. Dale would sing Celine's words beautifully.

All of the Melvins albums actually sync up precisely to the Wizard of Oz. Buzz came up with the whole dress thing so he could look more like the way his idol, Judy Garland, looked in the film.

Officially, I think it's Melvins, but unofficially, I think they love to be called Nirvana 2.

I know the Melvins appreciate me because they call me everynight just before bed and thank me for being such a loyal fan.
Haven't you guys been getting the calls too?

Those phone calls creep me out. They always call when I'm having a nightmare.

They always call me when I'm on the toilet!

I think nomatter what they say, they're pretty surprised and grateful of the fact that they have such an appreciative audience, considering they have such weird, wildly different creative output. They don't compromise to please people though, not in their nature.

I think in like 20/30 years, Buzz will eventually look like Raymond's mother from Everybody Loves Raymond. This drink-serving thing is an eerily prophetic.

Houdini was my first Melvins album, and it didn't do much for me. It's just a bit on the plain side until you really "get" the Melvins. Stoner Witch would probably have a bigger impact.

Anybody else noticing Never Breathe and Sieg Howdy aren't making many appearances in these lists?

Wow, yeah, that is quite surprising.

I expected them to make a few appearances at like 9 or 10. Lots of people like the Dead Kennedys too.

Ever seen Cannibal the Musical, Orgazmo, Baseketball? Chola Boy? Hehehehe, that's him indeed. Dian Bachar.

Who was he in Orgazmo? I haven't seen that movie in years.

I think Dale, Jared and Buzz are going to play improvised hammond organ for an hour while Coady plays the tambourine and spoons. Timbaland will produce.
