Well, thanks to Ipecac ( I hope that's really them ) for addressing the problem.  I too have to believe it's the flimsy cardboard and shrinkwrap.  This record just feels "flimsy" compared to all others I own. 

I'm glad to hear of a possible re-press.  A good way to get more money for the same album I already own on cd and vinyl

if they repress it on stronger vinyl that would help a lot right? I don't know shit about vinyl weight or things like that; it just makes sense that 180 gram would be stronger than 120

It would help a lot.  Not only in sound, but just the "feel" of the record.  It's a beautifull record.  It deserves maximum treatment.

There's nothing wrong with owning two copies or more of a Melvins release.  Christ knows I have multiple copies of everything.

I agree, it does sound like a repress would be the best idea; especially if they are all that way

Anybody that gets a warped one should email ipecac so they know it's a widespread problem.  I emailed them and they said the record store I got them from probably just left them in the sun, but I am pretty sure it has do with flimsy vinyl and jackets.

Not a double LP, mine came nicely warped because the jacket is pretty flimsy, the vinyl is maybe 120g, and it was shrinkwrapped tight as hell.  Sounds fine.  Everybody wanted a basic, no frills, Melvins album on vinyl, you got it.

looks pretty sweet anyway. who started the double lp rumor? ipecac? or did they just change their minds?
