lemmy did once say that evanescence was his favourite "current" band, so i seriously wouldn't trust his judgement on anything.
a friend of a friend once met him at the rainbow room where he sat at the bar expecting people to light his cigarettes and contrary to his "approachable humble guy" image as portrayed in the documentary told the friend to "fuck off" when he asked if he could have his picture taken with him. maybe if he was a stripper or whatever that would have been different.
i will say that motorhead is still fun and great to see, but lemmy's kind of a living cartoon (and the whole "sex, drugs and rock n' roll" cliche made flesh). still a million times cooler than ozzy though....
Ozzy made more good quality albums with Sabbath than Lemmy made with Motorhead. Ozzy may sound like a dribbling mess but he's still pretty funny and sharp in interviews. Lemmy is famous for warts, whisky and speed. oh and ace of spades.
