Melvins Discussion / Re: Love & Death X-mas Bundle

Got the 7" bundle.

No need for the other one, as I already have the letterpress 2LP, letterpress CD, and the cassette. The shirt and cards would've cost me too much.

Four variants?

I can't deal with this  :merde:  anymore. Now I'm gonna miss out on the GPT specials, because I spent all my end-of-the-year money on craft beer. Huge packages of it from abroad. I stupidly thought nothing this important would come this year anymore - and in this many variants.

Finally got the 2LP! I got a replacement copy from Amazon.de last Friday, because the original package never showed up. Well, the original surfaced yesterday... It had a label on it that said "Missent to Canada", dated 3rd of August. How can Canada be mistaken for Finland? Well, the climate is somewhat similar, but it's on the other side of the world. And why was it not sent here earlier, but it took two months more from that?   :disagree:

At least I finally got it!

Has anyone else who paid over $300 gotten the movie in the special box with the extra material disc??  I'm still waiting.....patiently. :^o

Received the following email regarding the boxed edition yesterday:

Hey there special edition box backers!

We've been getting questions as to when the 3 disc box set will be released and the answer is....not for a little while.  And that is pretty much my fault.  About a month ago I received a pretty severe concussion that hospitalized me and now has me in three therapy sessions per week as well as not being able to do my normal job.  It has affected my memory, my sleep, my stamina, and mostly just my thinking. As a result, I have not been able to work on the third disc of extras. Some of it is done, but there is a lot more I want to add to it.  I've had trouble remembering how to edit and use keyboard shortcuts that I've been using for years.  I'm trying to do a little bit every day in hopes that it will help me remember what to do. I sincerely apologize for the wait.  Your patience will be rewarded.
Thanks,
Ryan

Get well soon, Ryan :(

For real - no hurry on this! Good things come to those of us who wait. We already have access to the film so at this point, we are just talking about a physical copy and bonus stuff. No hurry - get better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if it takes a year, I am cool.

How comes you are only just NOW listening to the album though? It's been out over a month!!!

I haven't listened to it many times either. I got my CD pre-order just over a week ago, the cassette less than a week ago, and the regular 2LP has not been dispatched yet. I don't want to listen to entire albums from YouTube or wherever in inferior quality, unless I'm very doubtful of some band/album.

they are up for sale....damn, a bit $pendy- but i snagged one..

Too spendy, but I like the new album too much to skip this. Got one.
I mean, who in their right mind spends $60 on a cassette, or two? And I don't usually even buy cheap cassettes. But I don't care, it's at least a lot cheaper than a clown 7" on eBay.

Shit I need that Kiss poster from 2011. I got the Brian Ewing Hollywood Cemetery poster unopened for trade if anyone's up for it.

Sorry, wrong thread.

Pre-order the Japanese CD here (release date 26 July):

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/HSE-4158

The Japanese CDs usually come with an obi, slightly different packaging and extra artwork.

Will do, thanks!

What is this shit? Shipping cost from the Ipecac store to Finland for just the album $57.97 or $59.98
Gotta be kidding me

I'm sure the European distros will have this much cheaper. Does anyone know if the LPs elsewhere are colored too? Are there separate black and colored versions?

I say it. It's better than Basses and 8/10.

Anyone in need of the following Brian Ewing poster? I have a spare for trade.

Melvins Lite at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery

http://www.brianewing.com/gig-posters-1/#/melvins-lite/

What are you looking for in trade?

Haven't really thought about it, I just bumped into these posters yesterday and realized that I haven't taken either one from the tube yet, although it's one of the Melvins posters I specifically wanted to get. It got lost in the pile of other tubes in storage.

I don't know if there's anything specific I'm after at the moment, and the kids are wearing me out so everything seems to be more on a 'yeah, why not' -basis nowadays :D

Oh, I do actually NEED a couple of Mackie sleeve Clowns, and the Prick Mackie letterpress CD. And the War Pussy gold skull sleeve and the test press. And Shit Sandwich. Now I'm on a roll here! But I know that none of this shit is interchangeable. There is of course other stuff I don't realize I need, of which I have no recollection of missing from my collection until I get reminded, like some certain color/sleeve variants. I don't own all old Night Goats for example.

PM me what doubles/trades/ideas you got. Things usually get sorted out. I'm just so damn tired that I can't think straight, sorry.
