I was at this one too. Very good show, very very good. Finally got to hear its shoved! Bought some of brians posters and a shirt. Talked to everyone after the show. Dale said he recognized me and my gf at stubbs (bbq joint/music venue) as he ate with brian, bryant and dave before the show. Probably because I was glancing over at him from time to time and since I was wearing my black and pink pipe hold it in shirt. Its pretty noticeable. Its not everyday you eat in the same room with your hero. Lets just say I ate dinner with him. I ate bbq with dale crover.

Buzz needs to get one of those in black. At a guess he must own something like 5 EGC's or more now! I don't know much about guitars so im willfully ignorant, but why do musicians tend to acquire so many guitars or models that are the same? I always imagine a musician could buy 3 or something and be set for life without the need for any more. Is it that they just like the look of them or get given guitars as gifts or something?

Black would be cool!
I had that same thought before, I really hope he gets a solid or transparent-ish black one. I've seen him use an orange one though. I still hope I get to see him play a les paul one night. Not that I think its superior or anything, I just haven't heard him play it live I've only seen melvins after he switched guitars. I know he uses the same humbuckers I believe, but still. Buzzo has my favorite guitar tone ever

2009 at The Meridian (now closed) in Houston. Big biz lineup, but no opener so Buzz and Dale opened as a two piece playing old material such as oven and newer material like suicide in progress (new at the time). They burst my ear drums as a two piece then made me deaf for 3 days after big biz joined them. Met dale at the start of the show talking to Brian, I was so star struck I about shit myself. I told dale I chose to go to that concert for my birthday so at the end of the show he pointed at me with his drum stick and handed it to me in front of the audience. Such a great memory

It's Shoved
Billy Fish
National Hamster
Civilized Worm
Sweet Willy Rollbar
Growing Disgust
We Are Doomed
Youth Of America

A History Of Bad Men
Drum outro

They played from 12:30 am to 1:30 am. Most animated I have seen King Buzzo in years. No merchandise. Amazing show, they played 5 of my 6 favorite Melvin's songs. Very happy to see the four piece version again. Amazingly tight. I hope someone taped it.
Son of a fucking cracker that is a great setlist, I hope the next tour is like this. Then they can crank out some songs off hold it in. I hope they play a history of bad men more, that was amazing live

Just wanted to put it out there, meezer is not down with the weezer. I got tired of that shit real quick. But I agree with Angus. I'll never forget Iggy playing Dave Letterman, with Sum 41. Lolz

Weezer is at your leisure meezer. I had to say it.
That's funny, but don't have a seizure!  =;
Don't be a teaser!

I can't picture iggy doing that! Im gonna have to watch it, at least for me it was sum 41, since that is the only band I sorta liked from that particular point in time, and I just mean sorta, they had a couple songs that i didnt mind hearing, this all being before I started discovering "underground" music. Weezer is at your leisure meezer. I had to say it

I always liked Dave, he does seem different now than how he was before and during his time in nirvana. I'd have to meet him to know. Check out this poster brian drew! I only had $13 but he still let me buy this, I need to thank him again at another show. He said to just get this poster out of his sight then laughed. Sorry if the photos are too big I know nothing of technology or I'm very lazy and haven't learned to fix it, or both

I stand by my vote of jared. After listening to the title track Nude With Boots and hearing jared grooving along on his bass while his singing cuts through the mix blending perfectly with buzz's voice I have no other option but to conclude that Jared is indeed my favorite bassist. Coming in a close tie with kevin and mark
