i can't stop listening to this mp3 that vin diesel posted. it's just so much better than the album version -- so much more energetic, real, and succinct. it's like we heard the remix before the actual song. and the actual song is so much greater than the goofy one on the CD. it's extremely evident if you listen to them right next to each other that this version is the REAL song. this one sounds like the melvins, and i love the melvins. that other version is a version of the melvins, much like jellvins is a *version* of the melvins. i just wanna hear those three dudes playing music, essentially. fuck everyone else.

i wish i could hear an unfucked-with "pink bat."

you da man, dawg. big ups to you.

is it only in one speaker like that on the record?

man, i like the feel of this version a thousand million times better than the album version. wow. it doesn't sound like underwater ministry anymore, it sounds like the melvins. and dale's drums are fucking jazz, baby, especially at the end. this sounds to me like the song the melvins recorded before lustmord went crazy on it. almost sounds like a live take, save for the vocals.

i'd like to hear a whole alternate version of the album, now!

Quote from: Vcavallotony, you've become overly sensitive.  i have no problem with you, and i think you believe other people dislike you more than they really do.  i think everything around here is in jest and you shouldn't take everything so personally.  we all love each other here

i'm not overly sensitive, and it has nothing to do with anyone else. i just cannot fucking stand that anaconda fucker. i thought i was done with his bullshit. but, NOOOO, now he's fucking sending me PM's (you guys don't see those) and posting all his goddamned mp3's and i just wish he would go the hell away. this is all because i won't post some music or a link or something to prove that i make music. but why the fuck should i give that guy what he wants? he's a fucking choad! i told him long ago that this subject was dropped (because i have my reasons for not wanting to let on who i am by posting my music), and i even took some time away from the board so that i could be sure. and then, the dude goes and reads old posts and shit and then brings it back up, months after the fact. it's really harassment, essentially. i'm not the one who brought this up, now, am i?

now quit telling me how to feel and post that fucking mp3.  :D

Quote from: klumpand tony why do you even bother looking at a thread called PIGS vinyl, when you clearly hate the album.
(?)
dont answer.

why would you ask someone a question and them tell them not to answer?

i don't hate the album, i just think it's a weak detour. and, i was curious to see if anyone was talking about the bonus track, which, lo and behold, someone was. now let's hear the mp3, godammit!

this guy is starting to frighten me. he just posted nine million mp3's. too bad i won't listen to any of them.

dude, how many times do i have to say it? and why am i having to say this AGAIN, after telling you over and over on this board and in response to your stupid PM's? look: i just don't care if you believe me that i make and release a lot of music or not. it means NOTHING to me to have your approval, and your constant harassment isn't going to help matters.

you're just some douche on a message board. now fucking drop it already. for good. please.

i should just post a song to shut him up forever.

here's a PM he sent me:

"are you still recording an album a week?"

what a fucking troll.

actually, anaconda, you fucking douche, i've got two finished and i just started another two weeks ago. but i'll never let you hear any of it, you dimwit.

it was either a pre-lustmordian track, or an alternate version that lustmord left alone a bit more.  it's more of a straightforward melvins tune, less of the noises and digital manipulation.  it doesn't have the extended intro, and possibly the most notable difference is the lack of drum manipulation that leads into the little bridge part, if memory serves reliably on the CD version.
i'll try to get a good quality recording out of my speakers and put it here. it's definitely worth a listen, especially for you  :-k  lustmord haters. :-k

hey, that's me!

i really want to hear this. if it's cool, i just may be forced to buy the record, as i am a completist.

it's definitely not the best produced melvins album. it's unproduced.

Quote from: rhett E rockPOTRE just has so many subtleties (sp?) with the production, i love that.  the sound on track 5 alone.  what the fuck though, that whole album is genious.

not sure that a person who can't spell "genius" should be allowed to deem anything that word.

ha. burn.

Not sure that a person who incorrectly uses "deem" should be allowed to burn somone for an honest spelling mistake, especially considering you forgot a word in your sentence.

Ha. Slight charring effect.

not to nitpick, but "deem" means "regard as" or "to consider," so if you mean that i forgot the "as," you're wrong. because it's included in the word. and, i replaced the word "genius" with the words "that word."

"deem" is a better choice than "call," i think. because it has to do with having an opinion.

but, bottom line? it's comedy. like if i was to say you were "smarte." it's incongruous. have a laugh and take the cork out of your butt, ponch!
