Oh yeah! So the universe handed me this magical space harp and I've been plugging pedals in to play some ambio-metal. My end goal is to find a Brian Eno meets Merzbow fusion, but I've been wanting to do something melvinsy for control practice. Maybe I can get Brian to bass for me - I want to do Sacrifice

Also, I traded that painting a while back ago for a freak puke letter press variant. Let me know if you have something in mind via visuals, I'd love to contribute more art.

Hey everyone! It has been a while, I hope you are all well in the midst of all the craziness happening right now in the world.

I recently had the opportunity to team up with Sean Tillmann (aka Calvin Krime/Har Mar) and friends to work on a project called coloring books for a cause. I donated 2 pages to one dedicated to Grumpy's and another historic local bar called Palmers, and more recently a MELVINS page for First Ave pt 2. So far, they have raised over $25,000 to help local artists, musicians, and service workers who are out of a job right now. Anyway, pick one up if you can. They're kid friendly, full of games/puzzles, and of course, for a good cause.

I had a blast working on this MELVINS page. I did my best to fit all of the bassists into one goat. I hope you like it too. Peace.

Dude we would have helped you get to the tunnel. I was worried about you.

I'd like to respectfully decline on being in any shared pics. We go to a lot of random Melvins shows and I'd rather not have anyone watching and taking notes

Please and thank you

Riff raff outsuds the venue was super unfortunate.  The shooting was in the neighborhood behind the venue - probably a drug dispute. I hope no one died

The venue KICKS ASS. Sound was soooo good and they even had a level up area in the back so I could actually see the show without getting squished. MELVINS !!!!

Fun times seeing everyone! Hope you all are safe

Dumpy is your hotel in Mexican town? There is loads to do in Detroit and the city has really cleaned up. Unfortunately I doubt you'll have luck w public transportation (the bus system hardly operates) but you should definitely check out cork town and hamtramck

If the Bus breaks down on the way to the Melvins concert in a heat wave I'll do my best Micheal Douglas "Falling down" Impression.  :disagree:

Or you can take the bus hostage and reenact the movie Speed with Keanu Reeves

The two bass players thing played into it less than I thought. I was standing towards the Pinkus side of the stage and I don't regret that choice. Pinkus may be the Melvinsiest bassist since the Kevin days.

YESSSSSS. I love Pinkus so much   :D

If I am doomed to an eternity of seeing Melvins at First Ave I'm going to go bezerker. Where is the vomit emoji?

See you guys in Detroit

Who the hell ever says Lost In Translation is the worst film?

What?

Buzz loves talking movies! It seems legit to me to pick at something that might stir up a conversation. Because you know, Buzz is not boring. Lost in Translation is one of those movies that I am neutral with  - did not like it, but did not really dislike it - it was just OK - but could not understand what all the critics were raving about. Bill Murray, forever, but cammon.

My personal favorite was Pinkus and his least favorite food being "soup sandwich"  I just love him so much, and can't help thinking....does he mean ordering a sandwich with soup or is it an actual sandwich dowsed in mysterious liquid? Curiouser, and curiouser..... some of you might know that I am a HUGE Guillermo del Toro fan but if you could only hear my personal impression that b got in the car ride home of why pinkus might have strongly disliked shape of water, you'd all be lauging....believe me. I am so funny

I'm not sure if anyone else has posted pictures of these. Sorry for the low quality and bad lighting! I'll take better ones for the wiki  :buzz:

They were inside of the Pinkus Abortion Technician letterpress boxset, along with a lot of other goodies!

So much fun!  :P

Kitty approved!

Such a great show!!!!!! We drove down on a whim and got a hotel a few blocks away from the venue. On our walk down, it was obvious another "big event" was going on. Wait, why is everyone wearing either a) a bathing suit with fishnet tights or b) assless chaps with tie-dye shirt - or no shirt at all?!?!?  Oh, Poison is in town. Ok.

So we go to the venue, buy our merch (fyi the bullhead vinyl sold out that night if that has not been updated anywhere else - but we got one and everything else ) and we still got time to walk it back to our hotel. Same bullshit going on outside, only it is escalating. Whatever, it was so funny to see.

Get to the gig and All Souls plays for about a 40 minutes. They were really good, but I get so anxious before Melvins play I did not enjoy it a as much as I would have liked. It was a combo of sitting in the car for so long, and I was ready. Mighty Melvins come out and just kill it, as always. The set list really accommodates to the dual bass, and was so obviously carefully schemed and planned.

Dale is always so warm and friendly to us, such a nice guy. We met with them after the show and he shared the full story on how he is acquainted with the drummer from cheap, and reached out to play a song. My favorite parts is how happy and excited they all were, and just thinking about that crowd we passed by outside who had no idea what in the blazes was going on when that happened.....one of the many reasons why I love the melvins so much. We all looked at the wiki to figure out the last time the melvins were in KC --- it had been a while!!! Last date was in the 90s, I forget the exactments of it, look at the wiki if you want. Anyway.... mid-convo Buzz randomly looks up, and goes, whoa! is that danny carey?! I got a goodbye hug (so special) ....and hey.... that is my story

KC has a toys and miniature museum that we checked out!! Super cool!!!

Oh, and Pinkus calls me doll, which is pretty much the best
But I am sure he says that to alllll the ladies. I really like that guy a lot
