Melvins Discussion / ADAM JONES ON BASS
« on: October 31, 2004, 03:05:14 PM »
Is anyone here going?  I'd really like to know how the show was.

You can't get much better than young (female) strippers.

They should re-issue it without the vocals.  Special edition Jello hater's version.

Melvins Discussion / Rest of 2004 Tour Dates Cancelled
« on: October 04, 2004, 05:23:17 PM »
Sounds like someone's either really sick or out of the band.  Cancelling the rest of the year?  Thats a long time and a lot of shows.  I've got a bad feeling about this.

Anyone out there thats supposed to go to the show tonight in Kansas?  Has it been cancelled?

Starting to rethink if Jello's voice is acceptable...it's getting on my nerves.

I got it too.  Only on the 4th song so far but it's better than I expected.  Jello's voice...that was my big fear.  It's acceptable but certainly nothing like Buzz.  Lots of ads & 2 buttons came with it.

No judgement yet.  This will take a few playings before I can really decide.

Melvins Discussion / PIGS..I just figured it out!!!
« on: September 04, 2004, 06:00:30 PM »
I'm sort of with Conda here.  It certainly has parts that sound like Tool although I wouldn't say they sound like Tool songs.  Some sections of Pigs  are definately Tool-influenced.  Does that make sense?  I was also wondering if anybody else noticed the artwork.  You'd have to be blind not to see the resemblance.

Shit Storm.

I did crap like that when I was 10 years old.

Does ANYBODY like it?

"your choice live series" on disc - I thought it was rare.

do you have the one that lists revulsion, mine doesnt.

My copy lists revulsion.  I've had it for years.  I didn't know there were different versions.  Which came first?

I have a bunch of stuff but the 2 things I'd really like to have are Melvins Meat & the fetus.  You almost never hear about either one.

Melvins Album Discussion / Is CRYBABY worth buying?

I finally got it a couple of days ago.

If I had known about Divorced I would have gotten this sucker the day it came out!

Crybaby is one of the few Melvins CD's I don't own.  I know a lot of people put down COD as their worst.  I have mixed feelings about it.  I've only heard bits & pieces of Crybaby and not really liked what I've heard.  Anyway, I thought I'd put this question up to the experts here.

Is Crybaby worth buying?

Melvins Discussion / Book numbering? Neither Here Nor There
« on: June 12, 2004, 03:21:48 PM »
Where are the numbers?  The bar code?  If so, how do you read it?  I've had my copy since March but never got around to asking.

Thanks
