You are almost as pathetic as I, who only have Oslo and London x 2 under me belt. Jules laughs at us, Illu.
I bet im more pathetic.  8-[ :-"

No one laughs at the Welsh

Idk about that, Jules seemed to find some of my comments fairly amusing.

He knows he will pay

Shot from Sunday's show (I have many variations on this). Note Jared's home made armour and headgear :D

Only went on Sunday (little bloke in effeminate, too small, red Art Brut tee shirt with larger bald friend standing at the back with my back to the mixing desk), didn't see any boardies (only know oldernie and Jules) did pop my head into the Prince beforehand but didn't recognise anyone (and went across the road for slightly cheaper beer).

That disappointment aside, Sunday's show was almost perfect, the best I've seen the 2 drummer line-up play. Super dense sound, closing your eyes the soundscape conjoured was a giant black granite ball rolling through tar crushing tall buildings as it went. They were great, really wish I'd got a Monday ticket :(.

Almost perfect? There was a lot of bottle throwing going on (one ended up on stage as Jared pointed out, but more went back into the mass of the crowd). These people are cunts and deserve death. Also, £4.50 for a 330ml bottle of Beck's???? Get to fuck.

Sorry I missed you all :(

I'll be the short, stocky, balding man with the large, professorial bald man (my mate Jason). Not sure what time I'll be there but will hunt Jules down as I know his type (David Niven).

Just discovered that Jared has starred in BBC TV's sitcom Catterick:

coadys drums were set up in front of dales last night, so after big biz played they got it all out the way.
scott was playing a clear electrical guitar co guitar, maybe its buzzes one, maybe hes converted too now??
i have a set list from both sets, will post later but dont want to spoil it for everyone and ruining the surprise.

venue was cool, i imagine the residency shows will be alot better here than in london, im even thinking about changing my plans.

Disappointed you've lost the Savile look :)

Booked for the Melvins Lite show in Bristol and both days of the Residency in London! Cannot wait!
Bristol's a bit of a way for me but that looks like it's going to be the only UK show with Trevor Dunn and I'd be kicking myself if I missed it. Big Business supporting too!

I'm going to the Bristol show alone - so if anyone wants to meet up?
If anyone knows anywhere to stay that's dirt cheap that would be handy too!

I've been so jealous seeing all the amazing tours the US has had the past few years - finally Europe gets the Melvins tour it deserves!

Ibis hotel is £35, whether you consider that 'dirt cheap' or not idk but it was good for the money in my experience.

Ibis budget in Birmingham has always been good (for £35), guess the Bristol one will be very similar if not the same
