It was so easy to fool on Apr 1st because that cover art is pretty stellar.

I didn't see anyone not already in the Melvins at one time mentioned in the THUD! release info.

In addition to agreeing about Negative No No and Boy Mike being bangers. I also think Hund is pretty fucking crushing.

Great song, still think Caddy Daddy is my favorite of the songs released so far. But this is right up there.

Haha, i like the idea of when you listen to Melvins - you just hear Dale!!! Only the drums normally but then just the bass with 1983!!

What is not to love about Dale?
True story, I have worked with Dale's brother for about 13yrs, we went to see them at the Paradise in Boston back in 2017 and in between baseball and Steve warming up, Dale showed us the Bad Move video on his phone.
Sometimes it is ok to meet your idols, especially when they then go play most of Lysol.

Yes, that's the clear frontrunner so far. By a country mile!

Since we've heard 'I Fuck Around' and 'Bouncing Rick', i can't help but wondering what the song between these two 'Negative No No' might be like. 'Bouncing Rick' sounds almost like what you would expect a typical Melvins opening track to sound like. Whilst the opening Beach Boys cover has it's strong dose of Melvins' unexpected silliness that they sometimes like to serve up for the second track on a record. So these two things make me wonder about track 2. Could it be an instrumental piece of some kind or something slower and weird?

Negative No No does seem to be the one other new song I am looking forward to, and for the same reason.

It's cool. The second track Bouncy Rick is better though.

Why are these AmRep CD releases always referred to as "cheap-o"? I understand they are a cheaper alternative than the vinyl of course, but it always bugs me to read constantly on the site or on here the "cheap-o" description since they are just regular, normal CD's.

Maybe some odd marketing angle?
