Seems to be Dale singing.
Wow, that's something really essential and moving.

(I'm joking.)

CARDBOA NEGRO:

Excuse me I'm French but could it be "I walk for miles in your shoes and I couldn't WAKE"?
By the way, can we use "wake" without saying "wake up" in this context would it make sense not saying "wake up"?

Melvins Album Discussion / Re: BULLHEAD

I just want to add something about Bullhead 'cause I'm pretty surprised there're not more people seeming to love "Boris" in this topic.
This song is amazing. This is really something unique.
It grabs you by the guts and, when you're a musician trying to analyse it, I can tell that's really not a piece of cake (what sort of cake would it be?!?)!
It's a really really weird construction whereas it sounds very... natural when you hear 'em play it.
I don't know how they can memorize it and play it live like it's only natural (and this song live just kills!).

Great album, a piece of art.
And if it's not loud enough, just turn up that damn' volume knob! It doesn't sound loud compared to the very crompressed stuff of nowadays, that's all. It's just more "nautral" (one more time).

"Billy Fish" TOOO!
Whatever, I do consider "Nude With Boots" as one of their best albums.
The writing process, as one say in America, is brilliant, "Billy Fish" is a good example. There is something scientific in this album and something really weird too (just like the joyfull feel' sometimes), somehow autistic.

Fucking DOG ISLAND, am I right? One of their best tracks from any era. I love tripping over classic tracks and obsessing over how good they are.
Yeach!

And "The Smiling Cobra" is so good and brutal!
Did they ever play this song LIVE???

Hmmmm... not sure to see what website...
Was it a guy putting a lot of youtube links to the albums?

Isn't it?
I remember playing it when I was way younger before falling asleep. That was cool.

Yep, on some parts it's obvious that's Mark.
But I wasn't very sure with the "My War / You're one of them / You say etc..." and screaming parts.

Hey, are you sure it's Mark singing "My War"?!? I've read it somewhere...
It could be Buzz too, does it?
Great piece of vocal work.

(Photo by my friend El Felipe.)

Jared ready to offer flowers to the crowd.
Belfort city, France, 2015.

The little story is I brought Big Business and Melvins guys some floral compostion that I made and music from my band, backstage before the show. They put the floral composition on stage and at the end of the show, Jared moved into the crowd and gave flowers to the people.

That was a cool 2015 show. Flower power!
But the 2008 show they did at the same place was... damn it!, HUGE! One of the best show of my lifetime.

My pleasure!

Hope everything is fine with your wife now, eh-he!

Yep, "not being part of the decision" seems to be a more logical motive. But logical is not always the key.

I beg you to pardon my french, ahahah: I AM french, sorry!

Whatever I think the sort of "old guys with young girls" joke was very funny... too bad...

This album is simply beautiful.
At firts, first song, 'Housing..." I thought the "dark folk cliché" almost ridiculous... But it works. This is a GREAT song.
Sadness is a just mask, or a veil. Then the song become stronger, little by little, as if it refuses this sadness, more and more. It becomes a mountain of rage, maybe the rage of still being alive.
Beautiful, really.

Hello there, I'm new here. I haven't find a presentation topic, so... sorry!

What I don't really understand in this dull conflict is the nude (clown) ladies part...
Shitkid cover:

Well, that's not nudity, but... WTF? You're a man you can't put ladies on a cover, you're a lady, you can?
Soooo weird... the nude (or half-naked) female body is something you can sell-to-make-buy and that's immoral depending on who's doing it?
Moreover the Melvins nude clown cover AND the Shitkid cover can be understood as really ironical...
