i thought the same thing glen.  i was shocked just to see them on a list of "grunge" bands for the glam metal episode so i was flipping out when i saw the commercial.  it's great to see them get the recognition they deserve.  and yes, the melvins are definitely part metal.

what would be awesome would be if they all combined to do eachothers shit.
i would looooooove to hear gibby sing some melvs (i could hear him doing wicked vocals for let it all be, skin horse, lovely butterflies, boris, fucking ANYTHING)
and with 4 drummers (that's if teresa's still playing for them) this is like my wet dream.
and then think about what melvs could do for their stuff!
well anyway, that's a killer gig even if they don't do that, but i would hope they would take advantage of it, atleast one song, like cherub.


you west coasters are fuckin' spoiled with terrific shows!

that pic from ozma is one of my favorite melvins pics of all time
(gives me a good idea for halloween) dale looks soooo rad.
i have tight light pants like he's wearing...i need to find a striped shirt, nice beads and wrist band.
what color do you think the shirt could be?  i need to start this shit early.

i have never done that to a cat though, it's a pretty big cat too so i'm sure it's plenty more dangerous to attempt
is it possible to dislocate the tail?  it's an extension of the spine so i don't know if it could but maybe it can.
the cat doesn't seem to be freaking out in the pic, so perhaps she's done it before
i'm rambling.
