oh and by the way, do you guys know if they play the second part to 'let it all be' (not the creepy buzz whispering/noise stuff) live anymore?
when i last saw them live, they only played the beginning which is terrible because the ending is so terrific and haunting.
and all the recordings i've heard live of this song only feature the first half.

OPENED UP TODAY FOR CHRISTMAS AND ENJOYED IT!
it's really a great album, i was expecting less of it and got much more.

if i had to choose my least favorite melvins song it'd have to be smells like teen spirit.
and yes, that mike patton song does suck ass.
so much i don't like to consider them melvins songs but just lief garret and mike patton songs.

yes, downloading has helped me find out if i enjoy bands or not to buy albums dislike the band, but to be honest with you, the first album i got by the melvins was stoner witch. i watched something and they mentioned the melvins. i knew how much kurt loved them, so i decided to check them out. i went to a record store in chapel hill called school kids and got the first album i saw without hearing one second of their music. that album was stoner witch (sorry to bring up s.w. in an eggnog thread) and skweetis blew me away. right then and there hearing the melvins for the first time solidified my love and respect for the melvins.

i've heard antioxidote, d/led it and liked it, so decided to get.
i also enjoy hog leg and wispy from soatd dvd.
what do you guys think of d/l-ing melvins songs?
i have most of the melvins albums so i think i have a right to do so.
anyway, i end up buying the record the song comes from.
except the biafra + melvins stuff.
