I watched this show on dcn.com but since I'm a tad new to Melvins I didn't recognize all songs. Is there anyone that could post the setlist?

That show was my first Melvins show, right when I was just getting into them...holy shit was I lucky with that setlist! Although the other two times I have seen them were great, those setlists cannot compare with this one (even the 2001/2002 NYE show).

H-Bomb

I thought I had this show on CD.  Looks like I have a different show all together.

Is there any shows from the Showbox from around that period?  The one with Chris N. from Nirvana is in the crowd.  (I was at the show... it was fantastic!)

Melvins Seattle shows:

April 7, 2000 at the Showbox, the 2X4 Tour/Crybaby Tour

Leif Garret was there, I also saw Kim Thayal in the audiance.

January 26, 2001 at the Sky Church EMP, warm up to the COD tour

I don't remember who warmed-up.

May 12, 2001 at the Showbox, COD tour, it was a Saturday night so I'm sure of the date.

Hank III warmed up.

August 31, 2001 Altamont played the Breakroom

I was so fucked up I don't remember a fucken thing about Altamont's set.

May 14, 2002 at the Showbox, H.A.T. tour

Dead Low Tide?

May 5, 2003 at the Showbox, Geek tour

Skeleton Key, and some other Ipecac band.

Hope this helps you out.

The May 12, 2001 Showbox show started with a version of COD. I was expecting the set to start with COD after seeing the EMP show a few months before. I didn't have a copy of COD for the EMP Sky Church show, but I did purchase it before the May 12, 2001 Showbox show. I remember timing how long Melvins spent on COD expecting something like the origional, but it only lasted around 9 minutes.

jhirte

the 2001 tour was opened with COD, about 3-4 min ? from what I remember, then a 10+ minute version of Eye Flys.

This show was amazing.  I have seen the Melvins 3 more times since that show, and the setlist from this show still remains the best that I've seen them play.

You got that right amigo.  This show was the melvins at their best.  i was there, Hank williams 3rd opened, i took a friend a melvins Virgin.  i worshipped at Buzzo's feet that night and the world was a Beautiful Place.
