They should name this the Buzzo acoustic/comedy tour, dude was on fire.

Merch situation was a little frustrating. They were only letting in 3-4 people at a time, and felt kinda rushed since everyone outside was waiting. Haze was cool, had lots of stuff.

Really wish I would've picked up that HEPA-TITUS.

Show started at about 1 o'clock. I think Buzz was waiting for the merch line to die down a little. Buzz was in a good mood, sound was good, weather was nice. It was basically like Buzz was playing in someone's backyard, all that was missing was bar-b-que. He opened with Boris, the rest were pretty much the same songs he played at other shows as far as I can tell, the order might've been different. He was joking around through the whole set. "It's free, and I don't do this much, so if I fuck up I'll just start over and we'll all move on. Deal?" Then there was the Dave Grohl story. He said someone asked if it was weird to play in front of a church, and he said something like "you know...if they're right, we're all fucked. You know that right?" Towards the end; "I have two songs left, then you can go on with your day. It'll be great!" He sounded good; my wife said she loved his vocals. Fun show.

Pretty gr8 sound, minus the traffic noise of course. Sounds cleaner than in da club! Vox AC 30. Sweet!

First thing I saw in your pic. How much was it?

Did ya snag a show poster ... that poster is the bees knees & elbows; wish I would've had the foresight to ask 'bout someone grabbing me one ... love that little three titty devil ... titty city!

Looks like there's barely anyone there. What were all the festival dorks seeing instead of this?

Excellent review! The outdoor setting does look really nice for a simple show like that.

Great review and photos! It looks warm there, too.

Good question, wish I'd asked. I'm guessing in the $30 ballpark. Shoxop has it listed at $25.

They were busy getting plowed into by random cars, they heard all the cool kids were doing it.

As much as I love Buzz his hatred and disdain for Grohl seems unwarranted. It's not like he blew him off, he called him and invited him to come see Them Crooked Vultures as his guest. If anything I'd say Buzz blew him off. Was he expecting an invitation to brunch with Dave and his wife? lol I almost feel like Buzz enjoys being the underdog so he can talk smack.  Also I'm a little confused on how John Paul Jones is suddenly a coke head?

Buzz has also talked about how in the years after Kurt died Dave became a superstar and that all of Buzz's calls and attempts to contact went unreturned. So you flash forward 15 years later and Dave suddenly wants to be buddy buddy once, and then never again.

Yep, it makes more sense knowing this.
