black santa (the song)

[TosT]

Does anyone know who (or what) is singing on the majority of this track? Doesn't just sound like Buzzo singing deeper...

[Andy]

Pitch shifter man!

That song is really cool. Makes me think of a Kung Fu movie

, with all those high stringy noises at the end of every line. I like it when Buzz shifts his voice, well it works really well on this and Skin Horse at least.

[Leroy]

Dale maybe, but don't take my word for it.

[TosT]

yeah, pitchshifting would make sense... cool.
i love that tune so much,
and it seems to scare my friends a little bit...

[Jess]

when i hear that high pitch thing i think of old clint eastwood westerns like fist full of dollars and the good, the bad, and the ugly.  a very cinematic song.  and i love how simple every song is on the bootlicker. the melvins proved with that album that they write killer songs with or without distortion.
