when do the Melvins usually start?

Hi, I'm a bit of a melvins fan, hoping to see them on sunday in Boston. but I have to take the *#!*!*#@* 11:30 train out afterward b/c I can't drive and my girlfriend's parents won't let her take her car in... (I hooked her on going by mentioning the Nirvana connection)

Now I can tolerate that other singer from the Sugarcubes as much as the next guy. But I hope we'll actually get to see the Melvins for a while before we have to split early, at like 11. You folks think that'll happen?

The venue Axis's site says it starts at 8, but what does that mean?
Show's billed as "Melvins w/ Big Business." Does that mean Ghostigital and the Men of Porn and whatnot probably won't be there, or are they just not big enough to be listed on the bill?

(also I have Stoner Witch and Houdini but haven't heard anything else... I'm open to weirder shit fortunately, because that's what I expect we'll hear... how much of a mindfuck should it be?)

Try and get there as early as possible.  The exact times they go on has varied from venue to venue.

first band normally goes on within 1/2 hour of the doors opening.   don't miss the first band.  you will not be dissapointed.
