When I saw the Melvin's play The Electric Ballroom (24th Feb 2005) they had local support bands, and Buzz verbally showed his appreciation for them supporting during the Melvin's set.

I spoke to Orange Sunshine's (one of Holland's best bands!) drummer a few months ago and I mentioned the Melvins (I don't know why!) and he told he me had opened for them once in the mid nineties and Buzz told him he liked their band.

Maybe. I think he's more proud of the fact the guys from Blue Cheer will be practicing at his place and borrow equipment for the show at Roadburn in April. Even heroes have their heroes.
