Oldest movie theater in Leipzig. Had its first screening in 1912.

Saw Melvins Lite there and it was ridiculous.

Hugged a random stranger during Shevil.

The UT is a totally beautiful venue, but the acoustics of the place are problematic to say the least.
Sound at that night was a near complete disaster. Guitar and bass were way too loud and distorted, annoying ringing sound the whole time with no discernibility. Drum sound was alright.
I was standing next to the mixing board and had brought my earplugs, both didn't help.
This was the first time I was kinda disapointed by a Melvins gig, although the band was obviously on fire that night - but only by the looks of it.

I sincerely hope they will play at the Beatpol in Dresden again next time.
